As a Texans fan....I'm just glad the AFC South is not a laughing stock anymore. Every team is not to be taken lightly anymore. I'm looking forward to a great season and hope all teams stay healthy and stomp every other division @ss!!! 🤘
Texans winning the Super Bowl?!? I’m in the multiverse! Never thought I’d hear “Super Bowl Win” out of all of these people! I’ve been a fan since the LOW LOWS! Received my #51 jersey today too! Go Texans!
It's going to be the Colts going to the Super Bowl, not the Texans. No one is going to be able to stop Richardson/Taylor. Add in Downs, Pittman, and Pierce, oh... and those new kids, Gould and Mitchell and you have one of the most amazing offenses since the 72 Dolphins. They are just too fast, too strong, and too smart. With one of the best offensive minds as head coach, the Colts are going to dominate the AFC in 2024, and make it look easy.
@@chrisanders713That's right, wallowing in denial already. There's gonna be a lot of that this year, unless you are a Colts fan... Texans... 😂 They will be lucky if they get a wild card.
Preach the good word Anthony!!! I’ve been trying to tell this lost souls to watch out for the Colts this season! But that’s alright, we’ll be a surprise to them - like a Laiatu Latu sack that comes outta nowhere, this Colts team is going to overwhelm the AFC South this season!!!!
Him saying, and the Titans still have Treylon Burks like that means something is crazy. The coaching staff has been saying he's fighting for a special teams spot. Anyways, Titans will be significantly improved from last year. Way better receivers, O line, and corners from last season. Still think the Texans win the division, but a wildcard spot is well within a reasonable expectation
@elondon51 coach Callahan said he would have to contribute on special teams. Earlier in the off-season, they said they were "waiting for a second wide receiver to emerge." After that point, they signed Ridley, Boyd, and drafted a rookie that will likely be a primary return man. Burks lost his WR2 spot last year to NWI. In an ideal world, he puts things together and becomes WR 4, but so far in his career, he's shown a couple flashes, and that's it. Even in year two, it was reported he was still behind on his knowledge of the playbook. WR 4 is the hope, but he's by no means locked in as that at all
The thing is, all 3 other teams (besides the Texans) in the AFC South consider the wildcard “within a reasonable expectation”. I’ll be the first to admit, that Tennessee has improved, but they were also the among the league worst in the secondary last season and in the lower-half of offensive lines, so there is plenty of margin to be “way better”, to use your precise terminology. I still think Tennessee is a year-away and fights with Jax for the division cellar this year, but could well be a .500 football team. That just shows the strength of the division. Hopefully Levis plays well for you guys, just not the two times against my Colts. Be well.
@nateriley4067 the two outside corners and the starting slot corner Titans have this year gave up a combined 2 regular season touchdowns last year. It's possible I'm misremembering, and it's a combined 4 touchdowns, but either way, they went from near the bottom to the #1 on paper cb group from last year to this year. The wide receiver group went from dead last to at minimum top 10. Center went from dead last against the pass rush to top 5 rated starting center. LT will be significantly improved from having the two worst rated LT in the league last year in pressures given up. And yes, you read that correctly. The Titans starting LT and backup LT gave up the two most pressures in the league at the position even though neither played close to a full season. To now having a stud rookie in JC Latham. Both RT and RG will be improved to a lesser extent by roster change, but RT is expected to be a weak link this year. Levis had the worst receiver group and the worst pass blocking offensive line in the league last year. So, just by dramatic improvements at both position groups, Levis should have a much better chance to succeed. In all reality, their best case scenario could be an AFC championship appearance and a division title. However, being a bit more realistic, I think it's highly likely that they finish 2nd in the division behind the Texans, but in a tight race with the Colts, going 10-7 or maybe 11-6. I think at most 3 games separate 1st from 3rd in the division, and the Jags end up at the bottom.
@@Jayhawk92 nobody else on the roster will beat him out for Wr 4 because cally had already stated they planned on using burks all over the offense. You don’t say that about somebody fighting for a roster spot on ST. Also NWI didn’t beat him out burks got hurt it’s a huge difference. Burks biggest problem was his health because if we cut the tape on from last season and his rookie year I guarantee you we’d find at least 5+ or a lot more plays where he was wide open or either had his man beat and didn’t receive the ball. It’s all over film
Bha ha ha... Titans are gonna have a good yr! We may win the division? I know thats not consensus, at the moment... But we are not last yrs Titans! We are 180° from that.... Mean while ... The jags are the jags, the colts the colts, and the texans the Texans... We know who/what yall are.... And the texans barely made the playoffs lol they got lucky we beat the jags week 18 (your welcome) .... And y'all keep thinking we're last yr Titans ... Keep thinking that.
@@LoneStarHustleare you fucking kidding me? I don’t understand the Lawrence hate. Dude has completely turned around the franchise. He’s a specimen. If he cuts down the turnovers, he will be great. I will admire the picks thrown at the back half of the season we’re bad, but I’m sure he can fix that error.
As a long suffering Jags fan I just want to feel like I can really believe that the team will be good and stay good. To many years of hope only to be kicked in the d*ck the next year or two and we’re back to picking in the top 5. Michigan finally won a natty in my life time of the jags win a sb I’ll be on cloud 9 forever as a sports fan
The raw physical talent of the qb’s in this division is the best from top to bottom. If all 4 hit their ceilings it’s best division in football type of ceiling
Buddy let's just calm down. The dude barely played last season and we don't know how consistent he is as qb. Especially him playing running back with a lower passer rating 😂
I'll believe it when I see it. Levis is still a huge question mark and the rest of the teams in the division are all pretty scary. Titans will be much better this year, they could even be great, but I wouldn't bet on it
If the Texans go to the Super Bowl, Caesars Superdome will probably be 80% Texans fans. Partially due to proximity, but also becayse it will finally be the moment that a Houston football team makes the Super Bowl. Was born and raised in Houston and I can tell you that there would be people willing to put another mortgage down on their house to afford the tickets. That's how big football is in Houston, the biggest city in Texas. Don't even get me started on what would happen if JJ Watt follows through on the possibility of him coming out of retirement. Dude goes on one last ride to secure the ring he always deserved? The city might shake NRG to the ground with how loud a sack from him would get the crowd.
Typical mainstream propaganda🥴🐑. Anthony Richardson doesn’t have a shoulder injury geek. He HAD one and is still rehabbing after surgery and should expect some soreness as he builds up strength again. Non athletes like Rich Eisen wouldn’t know what that’s like.
Rich sleeping hard on Laitu Latu, which i understand because he's a rookie. But the dude is all football, all the time. He's as focused as any defensive player I've ever seen since JJ Watt. Latu wins DROY and is mentioned prominently in DPOY conversation, only not winning it because DROY is available. He gets 10+ sacks, 3+ FF, and 2 INT. In three years, Latu is taken 2nd overall in 2023 redrafts.
Jesus loves you!!! God bless! Jesus Christ is King and saves and is the way! Psalms 62 - "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken." Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
While I’m a Christian and agree with everything you posted Kyle, what does this have to do with AFC South Football? Did you accidentally reply to the wrong person?
He is the only analyst to say titans will make the playoffs like everyone is glazing the Texans and colts when the colts didn’t prove anything to anyone in the offseason. Titans went and made huge signings and trades I literally think that the Titans and the Texans are the 2 best teams in that division. I swear I need a sports analyst job🤣
Texans hype is wild. They had 7th easiest strength of schedule last year and 7th hardest this year. They won't win the afc south and probably miss playoffs.
@@chrisanders713 what? Lol ... the Texans have a better chance of beating the chiefs than the chiefs have at beating the chiefs? Texans barely made the playoffs... got lucky my Titans beat the jags week 18 last yr. (Your welcome) but they're SB favorites??? Bha ha ha... Woooo
Texans had one good year where they barely limped into the playoffs and beat a bad browns team before getting blown out and their ceiling is superbowl?
They limped to the playoffs bc of injury and the same browns team who everyone had beating them. Let’s not forget the ravens game got outta hand in 3rd quarter plus Texans got way better on both sides of ball
@@gideon7652the jags missed because of injuries, the colts missed because of injuries. The browns had Joe Flacco melt down and he was a backup… what did the Texans improve outside of the draft and diggs?
@@fatjonseatingadventures5429 Hunter is a big upgrade over Greenard and Al Shaair is better than Cashman. Those are upgrades. Mixon is better than anyone the Texans put at RB last year. That's an improvement. Slowick and Ryans having a year of experience under their belts and being able to expand their offensive and defensive schemes is an upgrade too. In what ways did they get worse to offset all that?

Mark my words here. The houston texans are going to be the winner of the 2024 most over hyped pre season team of the year. 2023s winner was the jets and 2022s winner was the broncos.
@@tristonmedina6296 No, I was correct when I said that Richardson started 4 regular-season games last season. He stated against Jacksonville in week #1 where he bumped his knee at the end of the game. Houston in week #2 when he got the concussion. He missed week #3 against Baltimore. He started week #4 against the Rams and week #5 against the Titans when he hurt his shoulder for the year. Anything else you want to “correct” me on?
The Colts are going to win the division and possibly a game in the playoffs. They are easily good enough to get into the playoffs if they ride Taylor and sprinkle in a bit of AR. The Texans are decent, but everyone is seriously overhyping them. The Jags are about to overpay a mediocre QB, so they will be stuck in mediocrity roster wise. Noone is worried about the Titans.
It's laughable and sad to think that the colts are anywhere as good as the Texans are now. They are not the same 2 teams that ended the regular season last year. Texans got light years ahead of them and the Colts maybe got better but probably stayed the same losers that they were last year.
@@chrisanders713f no 🤣🤣 if you’re actually a football fan you’ll know how stack the colts roster is 🤣🤣 I feel sorry for you my man. You’re such a casual. Don’t get me wrong Houston has a squad but don’t cry how I didn’t warn you about the colts. Houston overhyped hellla. Don’t get it twisted bud
AFC South remains as much of a crap shoot as it's been the last few years, only the level of play has gotten much better than 2 years ago when the Jags came out of no where and won the division.
@@chrisanders713 Is everyone just pulling numbers out of their asses? If Richardson stays healthy this season, there is NO WAY that Tennessee finishes with a better record than Indy! That’s delusional. And Chris, both of Houston’s losses would be to the Colts and Latu would snap Stroud’s spine in half on his 4th sack of the 1st half! (Whoopsie, that’ll need a band-aid)!
@@nateriley4067Indy is overrated. lol. I’m selling them all the way. Only team I can say I’m super confident will be there come seasons end is them crummy Texans
CJ stroud, Joe mixon, Stephon diggs, Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Will Anderson jr., Danielle Hunter, Jalen Pitre, and Derek Stingley. That’s an INSANE roster
But AR5 will win Comeback Player of the Year and the Colts will win the Lombardi Trophy! It takes more than 1 player to win a championship. What’s a throphy anyways?
Texans fans must have forgot the Colts damn near made the playoffs with their BACKUP qb, just imagine what we can do with a fully healthy AR and JT, it’s on for the AFC title good luck Texans 👍
Titans take is TOO crazy. Derrick Henry is a better player than Tony Pollard. And Tony is going from one of the best O-Lines in the league to one of the worst.
Not one of the worst olines in the league anymore, the entire left side of the line is patched and we moved the only other good olineman we had over to the right side. Still weak on the right but it’s not one of the worst lines anymore
