Ugh this is just awful. Games on sunday and monday is it. Thanksgiving is fine, it's one thursday game and it makes a fun day and it's always thursday. Chasing christmas and messing with the schedule in the weeks ahead and behind is just a joke.....there is such a thing as market saturation.

Roger doesn't care about players safety. Let's ban a tackle and have the ref's fix more games for us, since we "care" about player's safety. BUT 2 or more teams will have to play on even shorter week for a Wednesday Christmas Day game, than the normal gay Thursday Night games that nobody watches.

I hate holidays so more games make them so much more tolerable. But can we prohibit the guys who go to games dressed as Santa with a grinch mask, as in the thumbnail here, thinking it’s so very clever and they’re the only one to think of it? Because about 5000 d- bags did that this past Xmas.

the problem with the Sat-Wed schedule is you basically will have the same teams playing on a National broadcast 2 weeks in a row. So does that mean 4 teams playing on Sat then Wed?

Games on Thursday Night are bad enough and now on Christmas Wednesday. The NFL is killing its product. I really don't think players will like playing on Christmas Day.

I don't like it. But if it has to be I think another option would be to have it be Division Rivals and have them play their first game the previous Thursday and their second game the following Wednesday, on Christmas. That would give them nearly a full week, and they would both benefit from a mini-bye afterwards. It'd be a little weird for the teams to play back-to-back, but that's basically already happening. Last season the Chiefs played the Broncos in week 6 and again in week 8.

I HATE GAMES ON CHRISTMAS. I have so much to do on the holidays, Thanksgiving is OK. I grew up with it being that way. However I do alot of things on Christmas. One thing being I am the one that does all the cooking (well most of). So I do not get to enjoy any of it.

Just put a small 32 in tv in your kitchen for that day. You can sit it on top of the fridge if you don’t have space.

Obviously the NFL gets and deserves more attention than MAC football but every November we have some kinda college for pro football every single day for most of the month, with MAC games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, NFL Thursdays, more college Friday Nights and All day Saturday, and of course NFL Sunday and Monday nights, so this is not that odd, except it's NFL and over the holidays

I can’t believe Rich doesn’t understand the concept of quarterfinal. Quarterfinal means that you are down to your final 8 teams. The first round is the round where the top four teams get a bye.

I'm not sure how the NFL plans to schedule those games, since the bye weeks are usually done prior to Christmas. Theoretically they could place one team that played on the Thursday night game the week prior to play on Christmas, but what about the other teams?
