I like how descriptive you are of the trails you ride. I'm sure it helps people who are interested in finding out about the trail before riding it. Keep it up!
I’ve watched one of your videos prior to heading out to each of the triad trails. You’ve been a big help to me just starting out. Thanks a bunch my friend!
I live 15 minutes/8 miles from there, yesterday was my 1st time. I rode 2 laps on the green section as I have been sick and self quarantined for 14 days, next time I will ride the blue trail, definitely a quick fun ride as many times as you like
It's nice to have a trail like this close by. It offers a little of everything, climbs, downhill, berms along with bridge and creek crossings. I just wish they would make it a loop instead of a lolly pop.
Thanks for posting all these NC area trail videos. I've been riding Rich Fork a fair amount lately, but always have trouble with that uphill right turn after crossing those two bridges! Any advice?
Beautiful trail, I guess you filmed the video sometime last summer? We got more floods and storms here in Wales plus this virus is making it all very dystopian. Hope you all are well 👍🏼
Yes, late August. I've temporarily remedied my computer issues so I can get back to editing! Your videos have documented the incredible amount of rain. We're supposed to get more all this week. This virus has everyone on edge. Stay well!
Is this worth riding if I’m used to WNC Pisgah and DuPont type riding? Are there any features??? Is there anywhere else in the area you would recommend? Thank you.
Hey Taylor, Rich Fork is considered a blue trail and isn't going to be difficult for someone that normally rides Pisgah and Dupont. In my opinion, the most challenging trails in the Piedmont area are Hobby Park in Winston Salem and Moore's Springs in Danbury.
I see there's a new trail off to the left as you get to the creek/rocks to cross. A tree fell across there recently. Is that intended as a hiking a bike trail or both?
It's more of a lollipop. From the trailhead there is two way traffic that crosses the creek and starts up the hill, from there the trail goes to the right and starts the loop. It's a fun one for sure. Thanks for checking it out!
