I am a young professional woman who is passionate about collecting new bags from major brands. By chance I read an article about financial management and realized it would make more sense to invest that money into online courses and personal development. It wasn't until I discovered *condupcom* that this plan came to fruition.
I work in the luxury industry and we had a customer with a mirror copy of a Birkin 30 come in. She said she paid $2200 USD, she ordered it from a factory who makes these. I thought it was crazy but like she said even though it was $2200 she saved $20,000 and she has the $ to buy Auth, in fact she owns several. She told us she would never buy real again because this factory makes the spot on to the og. Hers was so good our 2 authenticators couldn’t find a difference. And yes even the smell was spot on. Scary for those of us who own authentics- or are they?!?!🤦♂️
It’s the middle class they try to sucker into spending all our hard earn money to prove that somehow we’re rich or are in this exclusive club. I can see how it’s a total scam.
I think you are overthinking your bag. It’s a bag. Get one get another one get another one. If you are stuck on the “authenticity” you are not enjoying it.
Yes I agree I make a decent amount of money yearly and I did a foolish thing of buying an expensive bag that was worth the $7000 now ask me do I regret it yes, hands-down I do because it’s only myself that I know it’s real when I could’ve easily Botton a fake replica and could’ve saved all of those thousand dollars towards my next bigger home so basically another terms it’s the middle class people that are trying to keep up looking for the parents of being rich but we are the fool ones that get trap in these non sense and I’ll admit, I was one of them and I no longer buy expensive handbags. I have what I have some previous purchases, but no longer will purchase.
My sister is married to a rich guy and he gives her whatever she wants so she buys "designer bags and jewellery" but little does he know that everything she has is a fake. She puts that money on the side for probably a rainy day. True story
Good for her! We never know when our husbands will throw us out of the door for a younger lady! Or worse, if our children don't want to spend time with us anymore. God forbid
I worked with a wealthy woman that had a collection of “luxury” handbags. Somewhere real and somewhere replica and honestly you could not tell the difference. And this is a woman who had enough money to buy whatever she wanted. I’ve literally seen her buy a Mercedes and a jaguar in cash because she doesn’t like interest. She taught me how to mix and match, especially when it comes to the trendy bags, no need to spend $5000 on something that’ll be out of style next year 🤷🏽♀️
Wow, my Grandmother in law was even crazier. She bought a brand new Mercedes Benz S class and she spilled a coffee on the front seat. After that, she just bought another one , it was funny!
I do the same, but you really need to know what you buy, for fun I went once into a Chanel boutique with a 400$ replica of classic flap and the staff could swear it’s the real one😆……otherwise, Mercedes or Jaguar are not exactly the most expensive cars, you can buy certains models of Hermès in crocodile leather for the price of a Mercedes, probably that lady had her priorities which is normal.
I prefer the real deal and get second hand authenticated ones and don't just get these bags so, that the world can check if it's real or fake but for my own satisfaction - Because you are worth it I feel, I hardly care what the world thinks, but I like the feel of an original even, vintage lv bags.
I lived in China for 7 years and I'm going to say this, my fake LV from my Chinese aunty that I got for less than $100 was so good I spent four years getting compliments, on planes, buses, everywhere and I treated that thing like a rag lmao. I specifically smelled the bag, compared the stitching colors and this was the most authentic I had ever seen. To this day the bag holds up sturdy like the material is amazing despite the abuse. I'd love to see an unboxing for sure.
My friend and I went to China years ago and his whole purpose for the visit was to buy fake LV bags and then resell them in London. The ladies he sold to were very aware they were fakes and honestly, this guy made quite a profit. He had a suitcase full of fake bags and was lucky customs did not go thru it. Since I don't think..both then and now...LV bags are attractive, I never bought one...fake or real.
As a person that's been dealing in reps since 2015, I'll tell you right now that reps have gotten to a point where you can't even tell fake from original. Many of them are spot on. Clean copies. The subreddit was a great place until they had to go into hiding. That article brought too many prying eyes in
Dear Michelle ❤ I live in South Korea and here ppl are obsessed with luxury, but the true is that here also rich ppl buy … replicas! 😮 reasons are: saving money; they don’t actually need this bag only for status; they use it once for event or photo shooting. I was also surprised!
Hi friend! Ah! Good point! I remember one time a family bought a bag as a "birthday present", but it came back. It was obvious to me that it was for a party or something. I'd rather they buy a replica, than to "borrow" from the store!
@@dialmstyle right, it is much cheeper and no time consuming, also no stress consuming whyle you are dealing with store ;) not all rich ppl are obsessed with bags, it is ok for them to buy replica for some cases. They use money for other goals 🙈
Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *esluxscom* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.
I remember "back in the day" in NYC, there were known vendors downtown who sold the VERY high end AAA and AAAA replica bags. The materials were the same, the hardware was the same and they were EXPENSIVE often kept behind locked glass cases. These were not $20 cheap Canal Street knockoffs! These came from China where they would buy an original, authentic bag and replicate it, stitch for stitch.
Mannnn I used to kill Canal Street.. was so mad when they shut it down. 😂.. I legit still have 2 bags I got from Canal Street that I am in the process of up-cycling now. These bags are at least 15+ years old but still in good shape.
@@QweenKay2U lol! When I was just starting my job, fresh out of college I used to get those striped fake Kate Spade bags there. Now you can get Kate Spade at like, TJMaxx. So funny.
@NolaCollectibles you are so right about this. I used to travel to NY all time many years ago-25 years to be exact. Those bags i purchased still look good today no paint chips, the brass is still brass. The bags still get compliments. I think I bought most of the for less than $200.00. Those were the days.
My coworker found an authentic versace label (the metal kind) and sewed it on a regular fur bag. I bought it from her for 50 dollars because I thought it was pretty. I wore it inside bergdorfs and the sales lady said she remembered my Versace bag and complimented it.... I couldn’t believe it 😅
to be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are *esluxs* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do
I used to work for a luxury house and I thought I can spot a fake a mile away. So a year ago, I bought a "lushentic" grade 30 cm birkin just for the kicks, and I was dumbstruck by how it looks, feels and smells like the real thing! The leather is luxurious, the handles are perfect, the stamping is spot on, I even used a loupe to check for bleeding but it was really, really clean. The stitching is handmade, the feet and the rivets in the plaque are hammered not glued, the sangles are correct size and length. I asked my a friend who has a collection to check mine, I didn't told her at first that it was fake and she said "yeah, it's legit." LoL! Literally blows her mind when i told her it's fake, she was like "Noooooo, there's no way in hell?!!!!" 😂
I believe it and I can't say that I blame them. The markup price is so ridiculously high compared to what it costs to make the bags. AND the fact that many designer bags aren't real leather but coated cotton. GOH!
Coated canvas linen. That's not cotton ,which is weak. It's PVC coating over the linen. The material was originally used only on luggage, because that canvas is much stronger, lighter and more resilient than leather. So it is used for 'workhorse' bags that are for everyday use. Louis Vuitton was exclusively a luggage manufacturer, they just added leather handbags later. They got requests for smaller bags, used for travel and their bags were sturdier than the usual bags Then they spread into everyday use. I'm not defending LV now because their product has become cheapened because of the mass production and the subcontractors cutting costs, so I mainly go for vintage. My main target is, before the superfakes and mostly not LV but Morabito which really IS well made. I've got Morabito which has the monogram woven into the canvas, and the PVC coating is transparent. LV switched from that, to just embedding the logo with a different colour, not woven. This was so many years ago I haven't been able to work out when. Morabito is an exclusive brand hardly known. They make beautiful bags using rare skins, and with jewel clasps. A bit more fusty than LV which is for fashion but some Morabito are just amazing. They make LV look cheap!
true right now you cant feel the exclusivity anymore, anyhow why spend it into something wherein you can spend more the value of money to something more important, somebody taught me that the key is mixing it up with the authentic
Haha, my husbands wealth became my wealth, at first I bought like two, real LV bags, and then my best friend showed me her dupe of one of my purses, I was impressed. Now, I grew up in poverty, while I have money to spend I’m still cautious about it. I sold my two bags, and bought dupes, and I will never look back. Over the years I’ve come to realize that, these bags are made in exactly the same place, they don’t even use real gold anymore(like channel) and all you buy is the logo. There’s even stories of LV boutiques selling knockoffs without them even realizing it
Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *preluxz* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.
Thank you for making this video I'm just starting my *preluxz* collection, I love to watch what people think and comment before I buy, it's something I work hard on and you have to do the same, I hope people can stop being miserable about topics like this, I hope they can be inspired to work hard on things they love and are attracted to.
I work in fashion and I had bosses who owned the company / were CEO’s and they’re biggest joy was going to Korea and China for our market trips because they could buy the best fakes directly from a factory. 😂 This is why fashion designer are the worst dressed (from my generation) once you know the insider stuff you can almost never buy full price again. 🤷🏾
In my 20’s it was so fun to buy fakes in China…we’d go to the market and there would be guys kinda scoping us out then take us to a “secret” room with the good fakes, while the bad fakes were outside. The ones outside had curtains so that when the police came by, they’d cover them, as if they didn’t know what was under 😂
I have no pity for the luxury houses. Greedy AF. I can easily afford luxury, but even so, I wouldn't buy real with the 50% price hikes in the last couple years. *suluxs*
Sorry mate but an actual Chanel classic Flap superfake goes for *esluxscom* 00 dollars when purchased directly from the factory and passes at least 5 of your checks.
You know my grandmother gave me a fake *esluxs* preluxscom bag because she knew I like pretty things and she thought it was pretty too. I was 22 years old at that time. I really don't care. People thought it was true. When she died 4 years ago. To me, that bag is worth more than any of my bags and jewelry combined. Ignore them. this is precious to you.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *esluxs* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I don’t blame them. I may even join them! I’ve spent about 50-60k in Louis items during the last two years. Yep, they got my $ during the pandemic too. All of my items were purchased brand new at various LV boutiques. So far, I’ve had to take back two purses. I’ve had to return some shoes too. The latest gold pair mules I purchased are giving $20 Payless. The heels are so flimsy. And now a third purse. My $3k+ Vavin PM, in empreinte leather, purchased less than two years, has already fallen apart. The clasp fell off while out and about in Canada. How embarrassing! Once it came off, the bag literally stayed wide open as there’s no other way to secure it. When I first purchased it, the clasp seemed off. I went back to the store, I think it was the Austin location, and she reassured me all was fine. Yeah, right. I’m over it and so curious as well about this high quality dupes. Please do share.
Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in *preluxz* Go shopping.
I use the *gtdupe* as a work bag and have had no issues. It's a comfortable bag, has lots of room, and doesn't lose its shape. That being said, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys, or anything that could damage the interior.
I use my *gtdupe* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.
Rich or poor, no one likes to feel ripped off and everyone likes to feel like they are getting good value for their money. If you can get the same exact quality at a lower price, you’d be a fool to pay the higher price just for the hell of it. Also, the luxury handbag brands have gotten overly greedy, imo with the price gouging. If you are constantly raising your prices by 10-30%, there does come a point where people won’t want to pay it anymore. It’s just not a prudent or sustainable business plan. Greed is a scourge that is wreaking havoc on so many aspects of our lives at this time. For example, when you make illness as profitable as it is in America right now, we can expect a heck of a lot more illness.
I have two pre-loved *esluxscom* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
I went to Studio Augusta when I went to Paris in the summer. I bought Monceau at *esluxs* to match. My only regret is not purchasing more. I really hope to get a mini Marley one day.
Yes love this video! Do it - get one of these bags! Apparently, there was a case of LV selling a fake to a customer and now Hermes has been accused of the same thing! The LV case settled with the customer so we don't know exactly what happened but it could have been as you say someone returning a fake in place of the real thing. In the case of Hermes, allegedly it was an employee swapping the real ones for fakes and nobody noticing for like 9 years. LOL!
Wow!! I dealt with a sketchy sales associate at LV once and I could see them doing what that Hermes sales associate did. Here's my story: I placed an order in the store because the bag I wanted was not in stock in store. I asked them to deliver it to my home and they said they couldn't....they said it has to be delivered to the store. Sketchy, but I said ok. Then when the bag arrived, it was dirty. It had marks on it. I refused the bag, got a refund, and decided to order online.
Me and my mom traveled to Shanghai a few yrs ago and we purchased a monogram LV bag and when I tell you there is no difference that changed the game for me. I’ve worked for many high end retails including LV
I use my *hotdups* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior
Very very interesting topic. 👏🏽 Yes, in this day and age ... I don't blame them. I own several authentic luxury bags. But.... I have a Birkin-a-like that is so good that the company I purchased from got flagged by Hermes and online store shut down (or changed names, I don't know). I only use it like once per year. I'd never spend $20k on a freaking handbag. - Now, decorating my home.... different story. 😄 Great video, sis!
Spending $20,000 on a handbag is the obvious choice versus spending $200 on a *hotdups* bag and investing the remaining $19,800, since a $20,000 bag is unlikely to increase in value.
Love this. My sister was in this group and she has a collection of replicas and I was shocked to see how good they look compared to the authentic. I kind of feel like a sucker for chasing and playing the luxury game for as long as I have been playing. 😂
If you own a real one, you know which is fake and not. I'm tired hearing that they can't tel the difference. Darling, try to walk in a classy place and lets see if their eyes roll.
I have a large collection of replicas, 24 Birkin replicas. Have been collecting over the years. I initially loved the style, didn’t care about the “name”. I still love the style. They are well made, great quality, and didn’t cost me a down payment on a house to get them. I always get tons of compliments, and could care less what people think. I will continue collecting them, it’s a great value and very stylish!!
@@margarets4610 Who cares "walking into the store". 99% of people don't know if its fake or not. If its good, AAA quality replica, what is the point to pay more for original? I compared my fake YSL with the original bag my fiend owns. We both agreed - no-one sees the differens.
@margarets4610 who is going to come so close to your bag to try and investigate if it's real or fake? If you have to go over it so thoroughly to find the differences then it's good enough to carry
Hii Michelle! The replicas started long time ago way back 2000. It comes in categories of AAA, AA and A. I remember that the sellers even said that you can’t even distinguish the real and fakes. The quality they said was more superior than the real ones. Good luck to your channel and hopefully you can do video showing the authentic and counterfeit.
They go even farther back than that, how about the 1980's? I remember it being a street business in NYC when I was there multiple times from 1986 to the early 1990s. And maybe even before that.
@Beth V, i has 1 LV authentic bag and rest in high end replica. I believe i paid either $249-349 for it. It is definitely way better in quality than those $50 Canal st replica bag in NYC.
I don’t blame them. I’m far from rich and refuse to go broke buying a bag that a lot of times goes out of style. I have real and fake . It’s funny when I hear broke ppl say they would never wear fakes and doesn’t even have the real stuff 🙄
Wow! Wonderful video. Thank you for sharing your secret! I have learned a lot from your channel and I love your engaging presentations. You are a great RU-vid host. Thanks *hotdups*
I used to work for a very wealthy lady and she had a lot of replicas, she owned a few real designer bags as an investment because apparently some of these bags go up in price with time. Now these replicas were not your typical fakes from Ali or Wish but still expensive very well made identical bags, but a fraction of the price of a authentic designer bag. She also did this with jewlery and designer clothes. She said she liked the design and style but most of the time the price wasn't worth it and she refused to pay just for a name or brand. She also said people think it's real anyway when i wear it 🤷🏻♀️😂
Love *hotdups* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RU-vidr can show off bags in as much detail as you
When I choose bags, I always focus on practicality. It needed to match the majority of my wardrobe and be able to hold my essentials. So I always choose *preluxz* to round out my wardrobe.
Nobody will believe it's fake if it's THEM wearing it... I had a passenger in first class who had on fake Hermes Orans. She told me they were but they looked spot on
Interesting that they confess, it's kind of conspiratorial and fun for them to do that. But I assume they would die rather than admit it to people in their own circles unless trusted friends also doing it. This is so weird TBH, when you think that the people who can least afford it are buying the real ones.
@@deborahcurtis1385 So I dropped around 7k on reps this year alone. For me, its fun. Partly because I don't know if the bag I'm purchasing is going to look close to authentic. Its hit or miss, that idea of not sure what I'm getting is exciting. I joined the community on reddit but that community is taken down =/ FYI my bags look 98% to 100% close to the authentic bag. And I learned what to look for. I get my bag from a private seller.
@@f0repl4y Interesting! I actually bought a rep in HongKong many years ago when I was young and clueless, it was actually a Kelly rep but I didn't know about Hermés, Kellys or anything much...lol! I just thought OK that's a reasonable price for a good looking bag...it was in a boutique not a street stall, near the Racetrack so imagine my surprise when it was taken for the real thing...the ultimate rep buy! lol
@@deborahcurtis1385 LOL! What a steal!!!!! Do you remember what you paid? Btw, I love telling people my bag is fake, usually, people are amused and surprised. Once in a while, I'll get a judgy person but I DONT CARE. Its a great conversation starter because my bags look so real!
There’s a celebrity stylist that admitted that many celebrities wear replicas. It’s nothing new or strange. Plus many times we see celebrities posing in magazines and photos for publicity and advertising are gifted by the brand.
@@patriciabrown3773 That goes back to the 90s. Since designer bags were made there's always been good fakes way before the internet and celebrities had has fooled! A girl I know who grew up in NY said she's always see singers like Ashanti and J Lo buying fakes haha they would be hooded up with shades on happy to sign an autograph this was before camera phones but bk then most celebs would send their assistants or the dealer would come to their house and show the bags.
Sweetheart there is no difference between the CC’s buckle on the *esluxscom* and real one. You’re seeing things that aren’t there. If a professional came in and told you the CC was a real, you’d probably agree.
I was close to buy a new never full LV tote. I’m so glad I came across with this video and reading all the comments. I rather have a $100 bag with $1000 in it than the other way.
I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable *hotdups* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.
This has been going on for years. Got my first Louie in 77 for a HS graduation gift. Went off to my all girl college & met girls who had lived in Europe & Asia. They said for the money the fakes were a better bet. Well made & couldn’t tell the difference.
While I do buy authentic, I can see the benefits of buying replicas for some items. Let's be clear... we are talking about friggin' handbags, shoes etc. Les Brown said decades ago and it still holds true..."If it's on your a**, it's not an asset." With the ridiculous price increases, I am glad to come across this because I may become one these savvy shoppers. Chanel ought to be ashamed for the poor quality goods that they are selling at Hermes prices. I can afford it but I do not like feeling as if I have been "had" by buying from this house.
I agree with you 1000%. I can easily afford to buy the real deal but I am very much leaning towards purchasing replicas from now on. The quality issues alone are enough to drive me to do it but why not save some money at the same time? Seems like a no-brainer to me.
Many people don't understand why I buy imitation bags, but *hotdups* can satisfy a lot of my pursuit of luxury goods, and can save a lot of money, so that I can do more things I like
I worked in a high end furniture store and after the holidays the ones with the black cards some/most would ask for discounts, return dishes, table settings dirty after their holiday parties. They would spend thousands then return within days. Most high end stores including another high end store I worked at had very forgiving return policies and made us allow late returns for the ones with biggest accounts were allowed to do whatever they wanted including return the wrong item or cheap item and pretend it was x item. Also most luxury items are made in China and the hardware is made there and leather is usually from 3rd world countries also and most of the luxury bag workers are imported from Asia and the bag is only assembled in Italy or France they use sweat shop workers so no one should feel bad for them. I made 2x-3x min wage working high end brands in Manhattan with zero commission even though I made millions in sales. When I switched to corporate I saved half a million for the company so I got 2 raises and a promotion don't feel bad for the luxury brands period.
Oh my goodness, that is awful. I really do not agree with these return policies, you see the worst of the worst. I also agree with you, do not feel bad for these luxury houses who pay their employees nothing to endure this abuse!
Rich people are notorious for not paying bills. The Kennedys themselves have been written about for YEARS for doing this very thing regularly. Seriously, rich people don’t get rich being silly with money. Like it was pointed out in the video, bags aren’t really investments. Not like stock is.
I remember saving my money for birkin few years back when birkin is more affordable than todays price. When I already had the money to buy it. I backed out because I can't justify buying 1 bag for that price. Instead, I used the money towards our second house. It is way more better investment than the bag. I do have the original pieces like LV but most of the time I lean towards using more my inspired pieces than the original one because I'm scared to scratch it or stain it and lose its value overtime when I have the heart to sell them in the future. I already sold some of them and kept some few pieces that I loved the most. I did used replica bags as well when I was younger. I got it as a gift and I didn't even know that it was fake because to me, bag is just a bag. At the end of the day all bags does the same thing, carry your stuff. Nobody ask me if it was a fake except for my male bff. 😂 I told him yes because like I said, I had no idea it was a fake. He didn't say anything after that, he took my word for it. 😅 Now a days, most people doesn't care or wouldn't know if you are carrying a fake or not. You do you. It's your money. You invest it towards whatever makes you happy.
Very smart! People are always watching and it’s good to be able to relax while out in public and not have to worry about getting a $20,000 bag stolen or getting hurt over it.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in *hotdups* other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals
Just discovered your channel, I love it! Funny thing is, last week I saw a girl on the London Underground wearing a mid-length New York Demerier and I totally fell in love with it. I want to buy *hotdups* . This will be my little birthday present. Thanks for your channel.
All I can say is wow! The replicas have come along way from when I bought a fake LV bucket bag in the late 90s because I was a young mother and couldn’t afford a real one at the time.
Right...I bought mine in in the late 90's and early millennium when I was just getting started in my adulthood life in my 20's and wanted to be stylish with the oh so fabulous the LV bags that I bought from the vendors at the various summer festivals, lol.
I never cared if someone had fakes and knockoffs unless they were trying to pass them off as authentic and sell them. I also don't think knockoffs and knockoffs are that terrible, I guess I can understand people not wanting the same packaging as everyone else, but if it was a good *gtdupe* , it makes sense that more people would want it, authentic or not.
Awesome video! I loved the topic of buying fake designer purses. I can’t bring myself to spend thousands of dollars on purses. I don’t have a problem with people buying replicas
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *hotdups* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I have “real” bags and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the *hotdups* we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Chanel boutique with her and no one can tell she has a fake
I love handbags not only because they are an important fashion accessory *preluxz* ,but they can accommodate my little one if you will. So I always buy these things.
I have seen some really gooooooooood replicas; shocking how good they are. I always say, spend your money on what you like. These days, most people can’t even tell the difference anyway.
If a rich person buy a fake bag, nobody will ever believe that it is fake. On the other hand, a poor person will use an authentic bag , no one will believe it is real. That is life people practiced.
The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your *preluxz* bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in LYXBAG other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals..
Great video. I’m new to your channel and I love your vibe. And, I can’t tell the difference in the two Bottega bags and the LYXBAG is close enough and it’s cute so that’s good enough for me.
Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *hotdups* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
I’d love to see a video comparing the fake and authentic! Or just examining a replica for its virtues. I think ppl can gain something from watching it regardless of their stance on the issue… if anything, it can help teach how to assess a bag’s quality and what things to look for when shopping on the preloved market for an authentic bag… go for it! I actually don’t understand why more creators don’t do this.
I've heard that in China, they did that for Nike shoes, and the replica was so real that they couldn't find the fakes, and it also taught the ppl making the replicas to get better in making those replicas. is that crazy or what
The article was fascinating, just never occurred to me that the rich were buying replicas. I guess when you’re sooooo very rich nothing is really “special” to you so an authentic Hermes exotic won’t mean anything more to them than a $ 20 Target bag to normal people. Because I can’t afford LV easily I want any LV I might eventually get to be real - as I will know it’s real and that’s what matters to me.
I just bought a fake Birkin and I went into Louis Vuitton at South Coast Plaza with a friend who wanted to buy a card case and we received great customer service. They offered us water..LOL I would never buy authentic knowing that fakes are just as good. However, when we went into Hermes, they knew it was fake and they ignored us.,..LOL.
Definitely get a fake LV bag and do a video! I think if anyone would do a thorough video, it would be you. I've owned/own both real and fake designer bags, and some of these recent fakes are insanely good. I especially got turned off by the LV price hikes, I feel much like these women do, I'd rather invest my money than spend it on an overpriced bag. The quality of LV has gone downhill in recent years too, so they only have themselves to blame. And I agree with you completely on the free advertising part!
Not just the price hikes, the drastic decline in quality! I mean peeling edges, bubbles in the monogram, it goes on! (not for me I haven't bought new for a looong time) People are realising what a sham it all is.
Yes, there are very high quality replica Hermes. They are hand stitched, you choose the leather, colour , and hardware as you would in Hermes. They take 2-3 weeks to make and many ultra wealthy ladies have them. Believe me .. no one would know.
I bought a replica of YSL in *preluxz* , and it is of high quality. Two years later, the bag has no flaws at all. My friend bought a YSL bag in a YSL store and a few months later she came back and told me the handle was broken. I made the decision to choose a high brand. not worth it.
Oooo I love this topic. Honestly I would buy a Chanel classic flap because I will never be able to afford a real one. So a fake is as close as I’m going to get.
It is really not worth to beg a luxury store to spend our money at! I’ve been there and no way I’m doing that again just for a BAG! *esluxs* are so easily accessible now compare to years before. Sometimes consumers have the money to spend on a bag but a lot of us start to realised it’s not worth dropping so much on these bags anymore when they keep increasing their prices but not the quality. It doesn’t make sense like you said! I agree with everything you said because I will buy super replicas for all of that reasons. At the end of the daywe only have ourselves to justify to, don’t care what others say Great video!
I stopped to buy "real" bags like 2 years ago... When I realized how many times i went to stores to try to get them fixed... So thanks but no... No more waiting no more "customer service' , it's awful to wait 6-7 months to get something fixed!.... I got 6 months ago 5 bags for the cost of 1🥰 and i can tell you i feel so proud of the quality and decision made🎉
For LV and Chanel just bring your bag to the shop and they'll send it to France it usually takes a month to get fixed. I sent 2 of my bags and it got fixed in max 2 months
@@Dubailifeandmore Yeah depends on the country, I'm always between us and Brazil but I guess they don't focus on the market after USA, some parts of Europe, Dubai, Australia... It's sad to see how brands are loosing this "charming/sparks way to get clients and to keep them... Sometimes you just buy something without the experience and it's ok but the service it's good, and sometimes you want to pay for the experience of being this person buying something symbolic, something nice because of the story, the brand, the quality or maybe just the design... I've been in many stores in different countries and seasons and the experience hasn't been good enough to really get married with the brands I used to love when I was a teenager and a little girl...I already spent almost the same prices for the comes and goes, i got tired to get things fixed, because again you're fixing something because you value things and appreciate quality. But when you need to fix something before the year its crazy. Quality ,customer service, the experience and love for the brand it's gone. My grandma always says never stay in a place where you are not loved and cared.
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *esluxs* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me
I know people personally who have so much genuine luxury brands yet they live in their mama house. I own my own home, drive a lexus and i do buy real mid luxury bags but anything over $1000 im getting a *esluxs* and keeping money in my pocket.
I bought Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week from *preluxz* , I have been using it since I received it and then neglected my designer range (maybe it was the honeymoon period) but I am so impressed by the quality and price deep impression. I wish they would make the same bag in a variety of pinks (i.e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from.
New sub- I completely agree with you. The quality is not the same, I have jumbo chanel (20 years old) still looks new and the quality is way better than new ones....
Hey lady!! I own some authentic and I have owned some replicas. The replicas that I have owned in the past I’m not gonna lie they have been spot on the real deal. Honestly to each is own do whatever makes you happy at the end of the day. I do not think these fashion houses are staying up at night crying bc they are losing money. Also i could never understand why some influencers would overreact about replicas. I always wanted to ask them are you losing sleep over this are you losing money over this because this is not your brand. These big fashion houses know exactly what they’re doing and they know exactly who their audience is. I will still buy authentic until prices are out of my reach, but I’m not against those that do replicas because I have. Heck I might end up when things get out of my reach buy some too! 😂 I say all this to say Girl give us some reviews because some of ladies want the bags and just can’t! ❤😂
Amusing to see some of the influences are doing a complete reversal on this...after lecturing away about how it's supporting criminals, they see how the mood has shifted economically so now they're all about value..and then reps.
This makes complete sense…it’s kind of like getting older and in a certain income bracket…no one is gonna question that an older woman has a pair of fake diamonds in her ears…they probably assume that they are real! Same with the bag! Why spend when the illusion and the woman wears the bag, not the bag wearing her!!! I am not filthy stinking rich but I have both real and fakes and I rock both- doesn’t matter to me, as long as they are of good quality and construction and won’t fall apart on me. Some of the fakes are really, really good.
Hi Michelle!! I'm new here. I stumbled upon your page looking for reviews before buying a certain LV bag. I love your content!! I'd definitely be interested in seeing how the real bag compares to the fake one.
Very entertaining video. Would love to see you do a comparison video. It's all just fun. And you're correct, it's like a game of hunt it down and find the best. When you think about it, every shoe, bag and clothing piece manufactured use some form of copy of the great designers. It's their inspiration and it is what we see in the stores. Finding a really good replica is not trying to be something you're not, it's just a dress up game. You know, were all little kids at heart copying our mommies or magazines . Think of it as a sport......you get a good one and you score a touchdown! Please do a comparison video! you're really good,
I brought a Louis bag 5 years ago 2nd hand and it was advertised as authentic, had a date code and everything. 2 years later I realized the inner label says "made in France", the outside label says "made in Spain" 😐
Hi ! Love your content… yes it would be cool if you could compare the authentic to the mirror copies . But I have to say once I saw a Birkin and was shocked how authentic it looked and felt .I think it was USD$550 or so. It was claimed that the leather is genuine , how true I really don’t know as there are different types of genuine leathers in the market. The fakes have certainly come a long way. I actually think it boils down to priorities … would I pay $25k for an authentic Birkin or $550 for a mirror copy? If one is very happy to carry a mirror copy and ends up saving $24450 and is able to save for a rainy day, then there is no right or wrong here. The problem is that the greed in these fashion houses have gone way overboard!!!
True mirror of a Birkin using Hermes tannery leather/waxed thread in correct colour, glazing, nails, etc run around $1700 USD. Considering price of auth, well worth it.
Girls won't succumb to their price, especially since they are luxury items that can't be caught in the rain, just like *preluxz* , and since they are only half the asking price, they are a pretty clear choice
Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *preluxscom* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.
I buy authentic and fakes. More Authentic but I do buy the fake because I would like to see how it works for me on a daily. If I like it.. I’ll just go out and get the authentic one. Keeps me from buyers regret and I would never return handbag once I purchase it. That’s just me.
I love your voice! Thanks for sharing your lovely *gtdupe* bag / wardrobe collection :) I actually love how you store your collection and definitely an inspiration for me in my future home
The thing is, you can only buy some styles when it comes to replica bags. Other styles, you'll have to go authentic. Example::: LV canvas bags can be 1:1 replicated extremely well. Chanel can also, but that's a bit harder. Bvlgari serpenti bags would be very difficult bc of the jewelry aspect. I can see how Hermès wouldn't be impossible bc they are simple bags. They have different grades of replicas. Most of these super fakes are sold on Instagram while the mid range to poor quality you can get off dhgate or aliexpress... depending on the bag, you can get a decent one.
I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a fake and it looked just like it. I thought of buying a fake wallet for my son but ended up not doing it.
I have a bag from Turkey. I got it for about $15 usd at a second~hand shop. I had no idea it was a replica of a very expensive bag - I just loved the bag. Yes, I did research after out of curiosity and it blew my mind that this was a replica bag.
This is, sadly, the fault of the High End designers. True, there are some obvious, crappy, knockoffs. But it has to also be pretty obvious...a TRUELY first rate bag can not only be made, but SOLD AT A PROFIT, for literally 1/10th the price. (AND there are some quite extroidinary bags made by lesser boutique companies, for under $1,000, or even $500.) Which BASICALLY means the markup on a high end bag is beyond bizarre. I realize a copy is not paying for design work. I ALSO realize these Designers jack up the price, for the same reason they force women to go on wait lists...to make the bags more exclusive and elite. But Babe, one thing about the VERY RICH (and I'm not referring to "nouveau riche")...they are cheap. It's one thing to HAVE money. It's quite ANOTHER thing to...keep it. And also, socially these women don't feel they have anything to prove. They are as likely to tell you the bag's a copy...if they like you..as not.
@ReynaudGaugler Yeah, well, the one thing about these "lesser known" brands...they try harder. Any of these recent horror stories about faulty construction, and wear and longevity problems, in SUPPOSEDLY high end products...would appall them...If you were referring to THEIR products. But then, not for them the clients with rows and rows of various colored Birkins, etc, in well published closets. Where the loss of a few, or even more, is an "oh well" moment. But then, many of these are never worn AT ALL. Yet, like the cheapest plastic bag, you may watch them self destruct, due to faulty WHATEVER. Poor plating on hardware, careless tanning or surface finishing, bad stitching, etc. Because to THEIR clients it had better not just LOOK fabulous, but wear fabulously, as well. AND PROVE TO BE FUNCTIONAL. But then, to THEIR clients these less than exhalted prices DO represent an investment. They EXPECT to wear them to death...and THAT demise must be many years in the future. They have expectations.. that DON'T include sitting there terrified that their "precious" purchase may self destruct, with only nominal wear. Or sometimes no wear at all... Or, just as bad, prove to be awkward or difficult to use...as an actual purse. THEIR designers make sure they iron out these kinks BEFORE you get them. But then, bags are pretty much ALL they sell. And have, often for decades. Their whole reputation rests on quality. These aren't "throw away" bags. But then, to THEIR clients, these aren't throwaway prices. At less than a grand, most in the $500, to $700, if you prefer a bigger bag, these are STILL the bags one saves up for. And they had BETTER DELIVER. And yes, not all of them are exciting. But if you hit the "high" end of their lines they can be. I have found it fun to pick up carefully selected vintage pieces, no longer available to anyone...but me. Only to have the "elite" look at them lustfully. These have often proved to be my favorite bags..and yet, years of my own wear, later, they still look new. The design fresh. But then, even their newer bags aren't produced in the volume, of let's say, a BIRKIN. Which, on the streets can be seen... EVERYWHERE... Of course I suspect some of THOSE are first rate knock offs...if an expert can't tell, who am I to judge...???
Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it….well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? Everyone one does something different with their *preluxz* for example their style, your style will set you apart.
I think the fact that replica bags are considered genuine shows that sometimes there is no need to spend so much money when everyone can't tell the difference *gtdupe*
Fake handbags are good because you can treat them like a bag without having to worry about ruining their resale value. My favourite bag though was handmade in bangkok the design is perfect for how I use a bag. After about 4 years of constant use, it still looks as good as the day I bought it. Luxury bags are both pretentious and over priced. You are better off supporting local artisans who make a bag for YOU.
Luxury fashion born and raised. I grew up around high end clothes and all the bags imaginable. The whole mentality changed. The clients have money for the real deal, but couldn’t care less about playing the games or waiting months for a bag. They want a bag not an investment piece. My mum’s old clients are buying fakes. I saw a replica Birkin and LV on the go. Compared them to the original, they were side by side. No difference. The client paid around 3k for both and they were beautiful. The material, everything. Just without the marketing price tag.
Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in *esluxs* Go shopping
People with wealth know how to keep it. Never pay full price for luxury items. That is something that middle to low income people do. They scrape and scrape for enough money to buy that one luxury item thinking others will see them in a better light but, it only shows that they do not know how to have money. If your home is in disrepair or your vehicle doesn't run, having one or two luxury items will only make you look like you have no sense.
Yes, would love to see comparing authentic & good replicas please… 🙏 Coz I am deciding if I still gonna purchase my next authentic LV, I am worried lately about replicas, that it will not be worth it to invest on real ones anymore… 😅 Thank you! 😘
I love your voice! Thanks for sharing your lovely LYXBAGS bag / wardrobe collection :) I actually love how you store your collection and definitely an inspiration for me in my future home
Love this! Please do a unboxing of a replica. Women spend themselves broke on these bags. If they invest the money instead they would create wealth for themselves!
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the *amzrepe* book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I loved this video! If you do a comparison, please do it from the Old Cobbler or Tony Luxuries as their bags are literal mirror copies. They constantly compare their bags side by side to authentics and even criticize the flaws on the authentics! I would love to hear your opinion! Thank you for your great content! ❤
I used to spent on auth for more than $80k before. I was so regret and wished I would know about high quality repliacas earlier so I could save a lot. I have bought more than 7 bags from that seller and really cannot distinguish the differences between them. I even sold some of my auth ones and buy more reps from them
This was a great video📹 You should show one as long as you get it from a very high quality rep seller and not a budget one case then it defeats the purpose of showing a exact copy...it has to be one of the best out there Can't wait ..thanks for being honest..everything you said was on point
Yes, there are different qualities and I’m pretty sure skilled artisans are making the more expensive ones! I’m not sure what I will get because I’ve not researched any of these companies! Thanks for your comment!
Love the way *hotdups* presents! You really put a lot of focus into presenting the bag. I don’t think there is any other RU-vidr who can present a bag in as much detail as you do.
I pre ordered the new LV reverse monogram loop hobo. I have not received my bag yet, but already saw a youtuber advertising a fake one. I would love to see you do a replica comparison.
I bought the Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week at *preluxz* and since receiving it I have been using it and neglecting my designer collection (honeymoon period maybe) , but I was really impressed with the quality and timing, right down to how they used it. Will wear it. I wish they would make this bag in a variety of pinks (i.e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the LYXBAGS book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I would buy a fine quality birkin or kelly bag :) It is not because I can’t afford a real deal, but I just don’t have time to play game with them. Do what please us, don’t care what other people think.
The reality is that large designer brands such as Gucci, Hermes, LV, etc. are becoming outdated as consumer demand has shifted from wanting to appear "wealthy" to wanting to show their "intelligence". 10 years ago if you bought a *esluxs* you were "cheap" and "fake", now you're "smart" and "cost-conscious" because customers have realised their's no need to pay 10x more for the same quality bag.
I love your voice! Thanks for sharing your lovely LYXBAG bag / wardrobe collection :) I actually love how you store your collection and definitely an inspiration for me in my future home
