Get an exclusive video every month at / boy_boy Rich people have very bad taste in cars. Please watch so one day we can also buy a breathing car Edited by / m1tchilli
It's even better, if i see that thing as a pedestrian with it's little light on i will just walk out on the street and watch mr supercar either crash into the side or brake so hard that he will spill his coffee or whatever he holds in his hand while driving autonomously
@@silviorafaellimasantos685 Literally how can you call yourself a socialist when you participate in capitalism? Just move to Cuba, where capitalism totally doesn't interfere.
Unfortunately I don't have a crystal at the front of my car to tell people that the brake don't work. However, the entire front end of the car is about 10cm compressed into the car.
Of course, BMW wants to make it sound like "breathing" is something innovative in cars, when EVERY internal combustion vehicle breathes air- they run on FIRE, it doesn't work without oxygen.
Nah its most likely Nikko RC, not actual car. Also only thing it will breath in is all the fucking snow and sludge from roads maintained shit quality. One day of frost after that and that thing wont anywhere before spring. This is already issue with cars let alone this thing. And yes they are probably thinking bu bu but my climate crisis that is used to steal peoples money and 100 years there wont be snow. Well first prediction of new ice age didnt come to pass, nor 15 other climate crisis hysteria predictions used to scare the people, like 2020 children dont know what snow even is.... pretty sure they know for put showeling that shit all winter. *look out of the window* and more shit is falling to fill the drive way.. great. Then again one benefit on that was for few years snowmobiles were cheap as fuck and i bought mine just the right time.
6:14 "for you, Blondie" (in german accent) ironic, Blondie was the name of a dog that belonged to the world renowned austrian painter who couldn't get into art school in Vienna
Oh my god! This is the most amazing bit of Trivia... If that Austrian isn't currently alive in Argentina, then we can safely say his ghost embodied Alex for the 2 seconds it took to deliver that line.
Excuse me, as a greedy profiteer of the exploitation of the working class and children workers, I can most confidently say my car is not stupid at all. Please take that back or I will have to flex a 30 minute video consisting of a bunch of angles of every one of my 50 cars.
This is an insanely underrated channel. Honestly your views on the world and the way you can spin a story from such a small idea is so funny. Been binge watching all of this lol
Man, these videos hit different. It's a shame political satire, and more mature humour is not appreciated by RU-vid. You guys are great, watched every vid a bunch of times. I hope you guys keep making them, because honestly they make my day sometimes. I know its probably financially not worth the time and effort it takes to make them, because of the lack of ad revenue, but I would love to see more sketches or documentaries by you guys.
Thanks so much, it's nice to hear that these videos make your day. We have a lot of fun making them and we're planning to continue putting them out indefinitely. We actually went to China and the US in 2019 to film a new documentary. It's about half-done but we need to invest a lot more time/money to finish up the rest. We're keen to get it done, but we want to grow this channel as much as we can first so we know we've got a big enough audience for it. The fact that you keep following our videos helps us get to that goal, so thanks heaps!
@@Boy_Boy I'm looking forward to the doco. The whole Red Scare 2.0 scenario between China and the US is definitely something that needs to be addressed.
If anybody doesn't know, this is just a concept car - it isn't like a "real" car that anyone can buy, and it probably doesn't even really ”drive" except what you just saw. Concept cars like this are basically art pieces that carmakers build to demonstrate theoretical future ideas. Sometimes they really do drive, sometimes they're prototypes of actual upcoming models, and sometimes they're just big silly toys like this thing meant to be conversation starters.
@@mmaxx6786 in the video they present it like something someone might actually buy. Actual production supercars in a saudi prince's garage will have some gratuitious weird controls and pushbutton pop up features, but the "super" part is usually under the hood. also the car in the video doesn't actually have L4 self driving. no one's achieved that yet, and if BMW had, they'd have already announced something for the consumer market.
@brentoncarter4275 the point is that even rich people aren't buying this car, because it's not for sale. There are some pretty extravagant, stupid luxury vehicles tho. Check out the $3.4 million Lykan Hypersport, which has precious gemstones in the headlights.
it's always nice when watching IDAT that these kings are behind it. i'm sure that there are a lot of people that know but don't mention it, but from here it feels like some savvy secret that the Saw Blade Dudes are the same guys that went to the DPRK for a haircut lmao.
She is an internet version of a showgirl. Stand next to our products and look good. But in fairness its hard to talk about these cars because they are not cars. You can't do a spec breakdown on something that doesn't have any.
If I don't vaccinate my breathing car do I have to keep putting a mask over it when I drive it around other cars? I figured Stath and a 1950's cowboy villain would know the legality of it.
I don't know if you guys take requests or not but i'd love to see your reaction to the hooters episode of "undercover boss". The entire undercover boss series is strange, it was basically created after the 2008 economic crisis to convince people that billionaires aren't all that bad (usually by giving 5 or 6 employees some benefits they should have been receiving the whole time, like paid time off) The hooters episode is particularly bad, they should have fired someone but let him keep working and the CEOs takeaway from the experience didn't really seem to reflect what the employees where saying. He also happened to resign like a year after the episode aired and opened a competing franchise. Plus i thought IDAT might have interesting insight as he used to work as a sexy server.
good to see bmw did the brave thing and just got rid of turn signals entirely. must’ve had a focus group or two to find out that their drivers never signal
The most fun car I ever bought was $900. Stripped down to bare bones with an upgraded clutch. Added bonus, I could've had $20 grand in the glove box, and not a single person would choose to break into my car given any other options.
I felt so called out lmao, i watch this channel precisely because of you two are a leftist with funny accent that doesn’t take themselves very seriously lol
I just found your channel, and I gotta say, instant fan, it's refreshing to see a RU-vidr that isn't up his own ass and actually talks about important things in a informative but entertaining format and has the self-awareness to just shit on stupid materialistic bs.
Thanks for this inspirational video. I was going to buy an overpriced snake car to fill the void where my heart used to be... But now I'm going to spend a fraction of that money on a shotgun, and blow my fucking head off. Thanks guys, you've set me straight. God bless the United States of Australia.
2:02- these are showroom items designed to sell the tech of those tiny items.. the closest ive seen is the "waking dashboard" on a jaguar F type. the leather trims over the dash are like eyelids, put the key in and it wakes up.. rebealing the dashboard
What's mind boggling to me is that for $150,000k you could buy a literal plane, go to flight school, and have some left over for hangar fees/fuel. Yet people buy cars for multiple times that number. Also if you want a fast car ever all you need to do is buy the tiniest car you can and put in the biggest engine that fits (or learn to weld).
I Know I’m late but I think you would be using a car more often. I think if you just bought a plane you would just use it for fun but a car would still be your main form of transportation. However a lot of expensive cars are built for speed (which you said can be achieved by installing a bigger engine in a regular car)and since there aren’t many places you can take advantage of it (legally). So I guess I would also be a waste of money. However I’m sure a lot of expensive cars are built for luxury instead so it doesn’t matter how fast you go.
Rumour has it that a few months after being purchased by a middle eastern prince, the car became depressed because the prince parked it in a rich people museum encased in a giant glass display. When it became too much for the breathing car, it took its own life by turning on.
Lol. I love how the host says “why does it do this?” with the weird, skin-crawling interior finishes metamorphosing, and then the video never follows up with it. PS you guys are the best. So much more than just the best content on YT.
Holy heck, I was just screaming with such confusion at the woman to tell us what the damn breathing dashboard is for. And apparently, BMW doesn't want to tell us about the features of their odd car directly on their sites. So I had to tweak my search terms about the feature to finally find any answer. They are to alert you about "upcoming danger". The car senses, probably with cameras, if there are obstacles, other cars, or humans near you, and the triangles approximately nearest the obstacle start to "breathe" and flip to their red side.
I am from Phoenix, Arizona , US and here Google's driverless cars , called Waymo, are allowed on the road (Uber's were allowed too but they ran a college student over and killed them) and we all drive AGRESSIVELY as fuck around the driverless cars; cut them off every chance we get, because they drive like scared robots-- not regular driver robots.
The car is part of the Vision Gran Turismo project which was a collaboration between Sony and the biggest car brands in the Gran Turismo games so no one person can own it since every car is half owned by Sony so they can be in the Gran Turismo genre Source: Wikipedia | Vision Gran Turismo Edit: I continued researching and there is only one of any given Vision car so you wouldn't just see one driving around in one since they're kept in storage for further 3D scans and graphical upgrades.
Was gonna say, everyone is treating this like BMW's idea of what cars in the future will be like when it's really just a video game collaboration that allows the designers & engineers to flex their skills and imagination
I know I’m late but if they just made them so they could use them in the Gran Turismo games, why did they need to build them at all? All they need to do is design a car on a computer and add it to the game I don’t think they need a physical car to scan or whatever if they want to upgrade the game
It's a fun fact that "autonomous level 4" has never been reached by any self driving vehicle to this day, but every manufacturer lies and says they're cars are there! Literally every single one!
@@maximusstirnimus5210 well i wish they are Marxist-Leninist. The DPRK video just showcased how sad it is to be a chauvinist and to believe Western propaganda. It didn't touch on Juche or how the DPRK functions which lets get it straight it is not a ML party.
Damn, I thought we'd established that ai controlled machines shouldn't have lights that change to red at the whim of the ai, like, the I, Robot movie came out in 2004 lol
the wheels are very cool but they seem to have a very big turning radius, must be a pain to park but if you drop 30M on this you can probably buy the whole walmart parking lot to make sure you don't scratch your super car on the poors
@@gunmadonna "26th of july" is The name of The cuban revolutionary movement (and later The political party) The name "26th of july" is on reference to the 26th of july 1953 attack by Communist querrilas on The Santiago de Cuba army barracks. Which attemted The start of a coup against the then dictator of Cuba. The movement fought multible battles in an effort to secure a Communist Cuba, dictatured by Castro. Armed coups need weapons. Thus they need someone to sell those weapons, or as we in the biz call em, arms dealers. Maybe you should learn some history? @@peltimies2469 i don't need you to mansplain history to me. what i am saying is that this attack was carried out by a community armed with shotguns and krags, outdated civilian firearms acquired one at a time over an extended period
If youre rich i understand why you would want to buy a super fast super car. But like 8 of them, in like different colors? Like If you really were such a finacial genius you would understand thats a dumbass idea.
Supercar blondie sucks so much 😔 Edit: I take it back, she has an uncanny talent for saying things like they aren't completely stupid and I admire the hustle.
The thing with most of these cars is that they are rarely ever sold, they’re concept cars that usually got into the company’s museum. These are not cars made to for rich people to flex in but a flex from the manufacturer himself.
It's a concept car, It's not meant to be a purposeful vehicle, it's an artistic display of technique and design concepts and a one-off. It's comparable to high fashion in a way.
