At first I didn't realize it was Richard singing so I watched it again...I am a puddle of tears. What a lovely tribute to a lovely couple. He will be missed forever & I hope she has gone on to find love again. ❤️❤️❤️

The most beautiful touching true love story. I've watched this a few times. Touches me deeply every time. Never heard this song before. I've seen pictures of her and their daughter with their daughter's friends. She aged well and beautifully.. Their love goes on through their daughter. Rare. They look very happy. Precious.

Yes he did. I am a man that grew up watching Richard Dawson and he definitely had that look of real love not lust over this beautiful young lady. I am very happy that both found true unconditional love.🙏❤❤❤

How sweet and heartwarming. Loved watching Richard on Match Game and Family Feud. When he was on Johnny Carson, to hear the story of trying to hook up with Gretchen was so interesting. Reaching the wrong number was just so bazaar. It is so sad to see him as a young man, then watch him age. (As we all do. :) ). The same was true of Charlton Heston, who also loved his wife deeply. Very touching video. I just watched an old FF and noticed he was smitten with a contestant, Gretchen Johnson. I looked Dawson up to see when he passed and saw in his bio that he actually ended up MARRYING her! WoW! You could see the sparks between them. I'm usually not the observant.
Oh, I wish I could have the same luck as Richard: to find someone who can love until my final days. How incredible is to find out that Richard met his second wife when she was a contestant. He was such a kind and loving man. I always thought he was very handsome. And so funny. I caught each episode of Richard and Gretchen to see him basically falling for her. Maybe she was falling for him too. But it is so fun to watch those episodes knowing he ended up with her and they have a daughter 'Shannon'. He said he was the happiest he'd ever ben. God Love him.
