Blackpool is awful.the sea is grey with rubbish and the anti social behaviour there is something else.colleen Nolan left Blackpool because gangs would stand outside her house.drugs are also in the area.fair enough drugs are everywhere but in Blackpool they have a serious problem there! Years and years ago you felt safe going to Blackpool for the day or weekend.i personally would be terrified to go there now!

The Frenchman has a point - British seaside destinations (for the most part) are very cheap and nasty. The Blackpool of today is not the Blackpool of yesterday… The British took pride in their appearance before and after the war; places like Blackpool were beautifully maintained and groomed, but they fell into a state of disrepair when Britain joined the EU and started sending billions of taxpayers money overseas. Places like North Norfolk, Devon and Cornwall and Sandbanks are well maintained because they are affluent areas of Britain… More money must be allocated to British seaside destinations - they need investment. Even in 2022, Blackpool is a dump that attracts tasteless people. Comparing the south of France with Blackpool is rather like comparing a piece of grass fed organic beef with dog poo.
