“He comes out with a theatrical performance...” Exactly! Thank you, Mr. Hewson! This is how audiobooks should be - a theatrical performance. Richard set the bar too high that it’s beyond anyone’s league. I wish all audiobooks would be narrated how Richard does it - as a theatrical play. 🙏

Yes! But was he serious or joking? I need pictures haha. But in all seriousness, David Hewson's interpretation and Richard Armitage's narration are such a meaningful, beautiful combination😍

I really enjoyed David's version of Hamlet and Rome and Juliet. And Richard's performance. A perfect team up. I would love for David and Richard do Twelfth Night. Really explore what was going on in Viola's mind and what it was disguise herself as a man.

Richard's audio is all self consuming;one has to go all in and get lost in it. He has a rather delicate delineation of character, and refined bounds between scenes, thus making the dialogue quite separate from scenery, and yet allows you to imagine the action, the aroma, the environment, music [?] and actors one of a piece.
