I'm a huge nirvana fan. Was in highschool when he passed r.i.p. I think Kurt would have loved his songs being mocked, changed ad lets says huge tribute to Kurt. Kurt was a god to us nirvana fans.
This is a great minute long version, but if you guys want a similar sounding full length version, look up Paul Anka's! The old legend himself covered it a few years back, and it sounds great.
@MrLeglamp Apparently you think more of Cobain than he did. I dont think anyone will ever top Cobain in the "blowing away of oneself". at that, Kurt's the King!
@MrLeglamp lol i was gonna say, he didn't ruin it or make it better, it's like his own version, like one or the other, you know what im sayin? of course you do, we both speak english =P
@Budehgong You gave wrong argument to prove your point since they acted like this not because of Kurt's hate to the song but because of being forced to do playback (as many bands are inside of programme studios).
Ahhh... the point is that every song he does is a swing/jazz cover of newer song. He's done Metallica, System of a Down, U2, Lead Zepplin, Beastie Boys etc. It wouldn't be at all interesting if he was doing jazz covers of... err... jazz songs.
Comparing Richard Cheese to Kurt Cobain is like comparing apples to pluto. They are so from being able to be compared that anyone who says one is better than the other is stupid. Richard Cheese does parodies/ his own rendition of songs kinda like Weird Al. I would say that Richard Cheese > Weird Al.
