Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, former members of The Doors, performing "Light My Fire" at Le Bataclan in Paris on july 3rd, 2011 with Dave Brock on vocals, Ty Dennis on drums and Phil Chen on bass.
oh man, Ray Manzarek is playing in heaven already, God showed us how men can be that greatfully blessed by Him and our hearts were touched in the 70's , to die is just a step to meet all these stars which we heard through our lives.
This was an absolute Triumph because the Doors are still incredibly popular in Europe and since Morrison last lived in Paris it’s almost Poetic for his band members to play there in his honor. And to celebrate the Doors music live. I heard they even played LA Woman and Riders on the Storm which they barely got a chance to play with Jim before he left. Of course, the crowd went nuts hearing these classic songs live after all these years only hearing them on Radio. A good time was had by all and God Bless Ray and Robbie for bringing the Doors music into the 21st century. Doors music is timeless! RIP Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison
What a great song with such energy! I will always love this song and Manzarek and Krieger created the sound that makes The Doors a legacy that will live forever. RIP Ray Manzarek.
RIP Manzarek =( And to the guy who said this is shit, it actually sounds awesome, especially since it's an amateur recording, this is almost 40 years later, and the singer does a good job of imitating Jim Morrison
@ROUGEART78 It's your point of view. But as the title say this is Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, not The Doors... do they perform as "The Doors"? NO! And I can tell this is not shit at all...
