John got hired by Jay Leno lol. He left. And he was fantastic on the Stern show. The best instigator that's ever been on the show. You probably haven't even heard a minute of his contributions. He's an embarrassing mess now of course but he was great a few decades ago
The SJ era was the best. I'm not saying it was because of SJ - but those years were incredible. It's been a slow & steady decline since then. It's awful now. Just awful.
Anybody who likes that video that's Beetlejuice with his sister and his mom, that was actually Chauncey's week. And I would argue that Chauncey probably actually had the best week of anybody there. Except for the fact that Bob Levy got artie to tell the pig story
Richard was a great edition. Too bad KC ended up leaving, and they added Sal and Shuli....Also, 17+ yrs later, and SJ has lost it all and has an awful podcast.
Does anyone know roughly what Richard and Sal are paid, or were paid during the Sirius era of Stern? Or even now, or just pre-Covid - can't be more than 60 grand surely? And throw in 4 grand once or twice month for a comedy show? I suspect they made the bulk of their money on the road...
