Actor and Game show host, Richard Dawson, has died. He was 79 years old.
Richard Dawson (born Colin Lionel Emm; 20 November 1932 - 2 June 2012) was an English-American actor, comedian, game show host and panelist in the United States. Dawson was well known for playing Corporal Peter Newkirk in Hogan's Heroes, as a regular panelist on Match Game (1973-1978) and as the original host of Family Feud (1976-1985 and 1994-1995).

He was such a kind and loving man. Funny as hell too. I loved seeing his love for his wife growing on the show until he had the chance to get to ask her for her number. He was very handsome. A gentleman for sure. Love you Richard.

Even though those behind the show had the decency and moreover, the respect to ask women if they were OK with being kissed by him and respected the wishes of those who weren't?

@@wendynichols6946 Yucko. Not even close. Kissing should be shared with someone special. (That does not necessarily mean only one person.) Indiscriminate kissing is only for people without a clue.

@@CoolAce1 Kissing on the lips (and possible transfer of moisture) is a great way to transmit bacteria and viruses. In this instance it is part of the tv host's identity and one has to wonder if all those women really want to do it with him. Many women would consider it a violation of their personal space but what can they do? Deny him in that public forum?

@@rr7firefly No one forced any of the women to go on the show. If they had a problem with it, they wouldn't have agreed to go on it or audition for it. They knew that the kissing was part of the deal and they gladly proceeded.
