In 1995, I was in the United States a new political asylum recipient from a Reagan-era client nation in South America, and then MacGyver gave game me one such a sense of being empowered that I cannot ever forget it, the character being a genius and yet a sensitive man, an adorable a role mode for me. Thanks a million, Richard Dean Anderson!
He is a class act in life and in his career, no one can ever replace the genuine hero of many generations!! Keep healthy and love life, you taught us so much goodness while stimulating thinking and encouraging brilliance and everyday life, things that future generations seems to be insulated from
I don't appreciate the editing and the mean comments added after a lovely and amicable interview. He had difficulties starting a new car, he was flirtatious but respectful after the interviewer said she's a fangirl. Big fucking deal. None of it was creepy, none of it was offensive. The interviewer expected to find McGyver, she wasn't prepared to meet Richard Dean Anderson the actor. This segment was obviously designed to overplay negative parts and only summarized the positive ones as an afterthought. He is a good dad and talks about his daughter often, yet you only included one tiny snippet of that in the video. I thank you nonetheless for a beautiful video of Richard being flirtatious and kind and feeling safe, something that you abused. But I thank you for it nonetheless, because it made me appreciate him more. People as kind and intelligent and lovely as him are rare and it just shows that a person's kind heart and strength of character will always be stronger than a journalist's biased expectations of an actor's personality.
RDA is totally right. the technology is kinda ruining the whole MacGyver reboot. i really do try watching the new reboot but..its...just not the same. i was open minded. i was looking foward to it. but instead of having this lone genius wolf pulling one trick after the other out of the hat, we have a group of 4 now who do spy missions and when the enemy is hot on their heels Mac quickly does something to save the day. They have a hacker, and someone do do masks, they have the former military guy (mac was military as well apparently) who's the shooting ace and Mac...they have gadgeds and gizmos and half a cinema at their HQ to look at during their briefings. its just not the same vibe. its more like Mission Impossible Reboot.
its simply due to this new generation having absolutely zero skills or talent. writing is complete crap, acting complete crap, dialog, storyline..et all . ever notice more and more cable channels popping up just running the old shows and movies. if there is no almost x rated scenes, killing, or other blood thirsty thrilling, it just doesn't make a good show.........no wonder this generation is beyond screwed up
I was exactly the same way about it at the start! But Lucas Till is perfect as a 21st Century MacGyver... and not only did it fly... It's flying into its 2nd season in September 2017 :) :)
MacGyver is a MacGyver there is noo need to keep explaining many times fuking many we watched recorded versions as a kid our vhs recorder taked amasing beating and prevailed as a victor still on back garage
