On November 7, 2013, photographer and Brower Center featured artist Richard Misrach spoke in the Brower Center's Goldman Theater about his most recent "Petrochemical America" project, as well as his inspiring 40+ year career.
There's no such thing as the "Norco Cumulus Cloud." That's just a device to try and add interest to the project. I grew up in Norco Louisiana (Norco stands for New Orleans Refinery COmpany), and my father worked at Shell Oil in Norco, retiring after 20 years.
