John Kelly meets Richard Mosse, an artist whose beautiful, provocative film installations and photographs are challenging the accepted norms of war photography. Now showing at the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin, his exhibition, The Enclave, presents the conflict in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, where he spent time in 2012, in vibrant shades of magenta, lavender, cobalt and puce. This show, shot on 16mm infrared film, represented Ireland at the last Venice Biennale and will tour to Limerick as part of the City of Culture after Dublin
