When Nixon decided that Native Americans should run their own reservations for themselves, that was a turning point for success for most of us. He believed we could govern ourselves better than the US gov. and he was right.

I saw him give a fantastic speech about a year before he passed away and his was still a great orator. He made some stupid mistakes but he was actually a very intelligent man.

This is what an American president should sound like. Not like the clowns we have these days. Someone who could educate the public instead of simply divide them and create a bunch of chaos.
