House of Game's Richard Osman joined Ken Bruce for a round of Golden Years and chose 1987. Richard chose this year as he was 16 years old and share memories from this pivotal year in his life. He told Ken about his start in writing as a teenager and growing up with his brother Mat Osman, who is a member of the band Suede. Richard chose some great songs from 1987, including a track from the Pet Shop Boys. He also spoke about the characters in his book, and spoke about the realities of growing older.

I really enjoyed this interview between Mr Ken Bruce+Richard Osman-he is a great presenter on his own show"House of Games"as you can see he always puts his guests at ease-the same can be said of Ken Bruce!-i slso liked his musical choices as hearing The Bangles+their cover of "Hazy Shade Of Winter"was an unexpected treat so thanks to Ken+Richard for a great listen!📚🎧🎶🎼👍😀

@@peteanderson4395-thanks for your reply!-i was educating my 10 year old niece recently on the fab music from The Bangles-i took her to see"Mummies"at the Cinema+"Walk like an Egyptian"is the main theme tune+sounded fantastic!-i am starting her Musical education at a young age(and that film isnt just for kids-it was great!)👍😀🇪🇬

@@carolinekeane_05 teach them good music young...Well done...a lot of people think bangles and Susanna Hoffs (she was and is still beautiful) but they are a very talented band... Everything I wanted is for me the bangles at their very best!!

@@peteanderson4395 -i agree with you!-the Bangles were+still are talented Musicians in their own right-but most imporantly they were just so cool!😎🆒🍚-they were deffo Women who rocked+held their own against the boys!😀👍🎸🎹🥁
