Love the theme & rendition of the song Mr. Parker! We used to be neighbors. I owned a home at Lalonea that sat on a half acre. Sold it once my wife and I moved to the State of Utah, USA. With that said, every time I watch your video and see you singing it, I felt like I am back in Samoa again! Wishing you the best going forward in 2023!

Victoria Nestor Talofa Ms Nestor, I'm proud that you like Samoan music. This song is beautiful but so poignant and heartfelt. It's a lover's song of regret and condemntion. There's a nice correlation between the video and lyrics. The song is called (Ave A'u) as titled it means (Take Me). In the old fashion samoan culture when the girl marries they stay with her family (parents). They will be the provider and her husband will be sadly but true the work horse. In the video someone was voicing her disapproval of her husband to her and she went to him crying and he said to her I'm tired of being a slave. She let her family broke up their marriage and now she's condemning herself from loving again she's not worthy. So the song says take me to an uninhabited place for I'm not worthy. But, nice ending though, they got back together..choohoo.

Victoria Nestor Hello Victoria, you are welcome..I didn't want to bore you with a long 1st comment so some words of the lyrics were left out. The words are so deep they convey the emotions. She lives with guilt and regret bc of all the pain and suffering he endured. She could've done something but didn't and now she lost her love and heart so she's punishing herself.
