Creative artists! Great variety of visual art and furniture too! Nice sense of humor… wow, this strawberries looked delicious, loved the glass art too! Your new camera is awesome! 😄⭐⭐
@@JenniferLupine it is. If I toggle the display it shows me (in BIG font) where everything is settings wise. I don’t have the chops for telephoto but 20-60mm on a full frame? I can line that up without looking lol.
love the shot at 2:32, awesome showcase of photos and vids with the new cam! how are you liking it so far? hope you've been having a nice summer so far :)
Hi Kendra! I’ve never used LUMIX before now so a bit of a learning curve for me. So far the things that impress me straight off are autofocus, ease of switching between photos and video, stabilization, and size. I haven’t dug into the Real Time LUTs yet and I’m really looking forward to diving in.
Hi Dan, really great to see you got an S9. If you remember a while back, I was talking about getting in to the Lumix system (although technically I already am with a small compact cam) with the S5 II full frame. But the S9 is also still definitely an option. The lack of an EVF was an initial turn off for me, but thinking about it now, it probably helps this camera's identity to streamline into a perfect small-form street/everyday shooter, so now, quite appealing, in a strange way, if that makes sense. I really like the shots you got here, I think they look fabulous and I am a fan of Panasonic color science. I've watched a lot of online videos and the real time lut feature is amazing. TBH, it will certainly give Fuji recipes a run for their money, but hey!, why not enjoy both systems in tandem, this is my thinking. Which ever one I get first, the S52, or the S9, I'm pretty sure I will end up with them both = looks like they will make a great pair, covering most shooting scenarios. I'm posting a link Dan, to another RU-vidr who has done a really excellent overview video of what the S9 is all about. It also demonstrates just hoe great the LUT based SOOC shots, and video footage, really are = they look superb. I would urge you to watch this video, it's a well rounded appraisal, informative and the sample images really are excellent.....If you don't want any links posting here, I will understand if you remove it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vThncgrP56A.html Anyway, looking forward to seeing more videos using the S9 and hearing your thoughts, etc.
I’ll do a rundown of my thoughts soon…still kinda feeling it out. Micro Four Nerds….I love that girl…so bubbly and fun! That was one of the videos that won me over lol. I do remember our previous conversation and you mentioning the S9 as a possibility for you. That might have been the spark 🔥 because shortly after that I started looking into it. I am frankly shocked how well I am using an OVF and how well I knew the focal lengths. With the 20-60 I have 24, 35, and 50 FF with extra reach on both ends. Simple. Ummm, the autofocus is very good but I come from Fuji lol. Lots for me to learn but the menu is well laid out. I have played with the LUTS but have yet to use the full workflow. The 3.8 K lite files look way better than I thought they might.
@@DanFarrar Well, I'm glad it's been a positive star for you, using the S9 and it will be interesting to see how using this camera ultimately pans out for you. In that regard, if you post reasonably regular videos using it, you're taking us on the journey too, so that's pretty cool...I do think it takes great photos.
@@innercityunit2112 For sure I’ll be uploading regularly on the S9 and topics about it. The only thing I can really say with confidence is YES it takes great pictures. The kit lens is sharper than it outa be and I haven’t yet found a need for a grip since I’m mostly holding it in my left hand flat and open holding the base and right hand normal on the shutter. If I were using it one handed than yes a grip would matter.
That S9 is performing beautifully, love the sound track, you got some awesome shots in there. I watched a lot of reviews on the S9, but this is real world, which is way more valuable. I do like the Lumix line, and have the FZ300, FZ1000, ZS100 and oh ya, a G95 somewhere or another, lol, I guess I have a bit of camera hoarder problem, but they are fantastic cameras, and that G9 looks sweet and compact.
it’s. great little camera IMO. Even with an electronic shutter the shutter still has a nice tactile click and half press too. The standard color profile is dead on, WB no prob, the screen is bright enough and the auto focus makes it easy. So far so good!
