It seems like a lot of builders in the Middle TN area (Ryan, Lennar, DR Horton) have very poor reviews online (BBB, Consumer Reports). Is this something you've seen or experienced from former clients? Are there any builders you recommend? Thanks!

Hey, this is such a good question! I have sold a handful of Ryan Homes and all my clients are very very happy with them :) I have not sold a home by Lennar or DR Horton. What I can say is most bad reviews I see or read about are related to the responses to warranty issues or what owners thought were warrantied but were not. So I always recommend going over the warranty in detail to make sure you understand what's covered and what isn't. I'm looking to buy a house (or townhouse) sometime in the next 6 months and I've been concerned about some of the reputational quality of the major builders in the area. Obviously, the last thing I want is to pay a ton of money on a new house and then deal with possible repairs in the near future that were not covered under warranty. I'll definitely keep this in mind!
