Dad gum Erica!!! Your slip collection is better than mine hahaha! LOVE THIS! Thank you so much this is surreal to me that someone would make a video like this. Your my real OG for sure! 👊 much I love this is awesome.
!000% agreee on supporting a good artisan Ive just helped a friends get into fine woodwork and hes already miles better then Iam in it and Ive thrown him multiple projects ... Love it and your right those slips are pure Magic.
Michael's an awesome dude, for sure. Love Richter Knives! You know, I've never owned, carried or used a slip before? Always just threw my slipjoints in my pocket. But I just got a GEC 71 to pair with my well used & loved GEC 21 Bull Buster (my 21 wanted a little brother!), so I think a Richter slip just might be in my future. Your 71 looks so good in that Micarta textured slip that he made for you. Awesome video, thanks!
I always thought those Richter slips looked great in your videos, beautifully hand crafted. When you buy one and actually hold it in your hand though, you realize just how well built it is as well. I mean seriously, you could hand one of those down to your kids one day, they are that high in build quality. That plus the fact that Michael is such a pleasure to do business with makes it a “no brainer” to get one (or several)…
Love your channel. The man is a genius. I think hes not getting enough credit for his knife cover prints on the leather. No ones done that before!! Its such a cool idea. I love the sawcut. Thanks for sharing very jealous of your collection 😊
They look great now...really great! But will look even better with 5 or 10 years of pocket wear on them. Don't forget to treat them a few times a year with some Obenauf's leather cream to keep them soft and supple (or whatever preserver Mike suggests).
Hey Erica, hope you’ve been well… loving all the stuff on traditionals and leather! I’ve been wanting to get a natural leather slip and just let it darken on it’s own… are you yea or nay on oiling leather?
