Well the whole episode is just talking about the meat industry in general, once people know how nuggets or scrapple is made thy get upset but then find food that they either dont know how its made or is "more ethical". This is just a jab people who think eating ethical meat or shit like that is any different.

I do and I'm not. It's like the writer of the episode said, a wolf doesn't fret about the plight of the rabbits it eats. Life's defining feature is that it proliferates at the expense of other life. You could argue that plants don't do that, but even they fatally outcompete other species of plant and have microbiological processes that rely on the destruction and death of smaller organisms. Life is death and death is life. You can either come to terms with that fact, or live a life of existential guilt and dread.

Rick and Morty is at its best when it delves into dark territory because the series always finds something both hilariously twisted and thoughtful to say about life. It reminded me of some of the best episodes in the series, such as Rick Potion #9 and The Vat of Acid Episode. Truly a fantastic episode

Fred's life montage hits hard. The song choice was perfect. People who tell you cartoons are childish and immature have not crawled out of their caves. A lot of powerful and insightful programming have been cartoons in the past decade. Rick and Morty, Invincible, What if?, even Attack on Titan (it took forever to get to the end though).

Fred got an ‘F’ in architecture. He failed his dream. He had the desire, the one thing he wanted to do, but he couldn’t. He fell into depression, turned to his ex, and contemplated ending it all on the bridge..but he never truly gave in until he was old and dying and could do one last good deed. The tools he was given wasn’t working, so he made his own. While it wasn’t his original dream he still found happiness. Don’t give up.

He invented his world's version of lego. I'm pretty sure he achieved his dream In a way even better than he could imagine. in the sense that he was able to create a system of building blocks that anybody could use to make architectural wonders. I mean, look at some of the stuff that people in our own reality come up with Using lego. Some Of that stuff belongs in the louvre.

Pointing out that small swerve on the bridge is my first time noticing that. Most of the suicide content of the episode didn’t bother me, but seeing that now, I just started sobbing. I remember when I stopped driving my car and started walking to places, during one of the lowest times of my life, because I didn’t trust myself behind the wheel anymore. That’s a beautiful, yet haunting detail.

Changing who sits where at the nightly family dinner table (Jerry at a head opposite Beth 00:45 , compared to Grandpa Rick in that exact same seat later on 19:14 ) could be significant within a family dynamic. 🤔 Growing up this never would have happened in our house! 🤣 (I hope the only reason for the change was to help with the staging of the respective scenes. )

Technically, you don't need a frontal lobe to secret cortisol. Adrenal Glands are located on top of the kidneys, and they secret cortisol. The Pituitary gland, however, sits at the base of the brain, and it is vital in regulating how much of the cortisol is secreted by the adrenal glands. Theoretically, the first model of clone could have been sufficient.
