@@symbioticplays7053 it's entirely possible,pain receptors exist to let us know we're in danger or hurting or sick. Let's say there is no natural predators for beebo's species and they're good swimmers with alot of fat and thick fur so water doesn't really affect them much same with cold. The species would have no need for pain receptors in it's body

If you cut/burn the right nerves, you can technically feel no pain - especially if you cut fast enough that it takes a moment of pure shock for it to register There’s a rumor that beheaded people feel no pain due to the severing of the spine and loss of blood pressure - of course we can not know this for sure as no one has made it back from first hand experience Soon we might have the technology to test this - though it’s been proven we can do it Just look up Russian beheaded dog experiment done in the 30-40’s(?) it’s recorded Despite the questionable nature, the experiments helped in the modern surgery we have today

He's not running from mistakes, he's _savoring_ them, by sharing these memories for Morty with all their poignancy, in a setting where second-guessing Rick's directions won't immediately put them both in life-threatening danger. Either that or Rick forgot which one of those capsules he put his memory into, the last time he was called out for using such a stupidly simplistic color coding scheme.
