@@DuBstep115 I don't do this type of stuff in this type of comment section so I ain't goin to trip on you so get out of here with that passive aggressive shit
@@crazyape515 They want you to believe they love heist movies, so that someone will comment that it's to cover up that they don't, which is what they want you to believe, because what they really love is szechuan sauce.
It kind of feels like the first half of Season 4 was just episodes they didn't think were strong enough for prior seasons, but they went ahead and used to get this season out faster.
Dan Harmon notoriously hates heist movies. You can search for some rants he's done on podcasts and such. This was his love letter.. is that the right term for this? Hate letter I guess, to hating heist movies.
Rick loves his grandkids so Morty and a Summer, but he does not respect them because they have such simple minds. Like how Summer keeps herself busy with boys and how Morty wants stupid things. Rick thinks there is so much more (“important” things in the world) and everything has to go his way. Which is why he is sometimes a dick to his grandchildren but he still loves them (secretly?/not obvious)
Guys, guys, I know this may seem a bit of a stretch but hear me out, I'm getting a feeling that Rick does not like heist movies, can be wrong tho... just putting it out there
I get a distinct sense that Dan Harmon just went on a rant against heist movies during a planning session and everyone else at the table just went _'Write that down, write that down!'_
Its nice that you are talking about Rick and Morty in the beginning as well, usually I skip that part, with the drinking and ads, and go direct to reaction :)
This is one of those episodes while fun to watch the first time, if it ever comes on out again, I don't think I will sit and watch. It this'll skippable episode
Ah, another of the Dose Cavazos crew's 'Rick & Morty' reviews! This will keep me busy for approximately 15 minutes... but you knew that going into this, didn't you? Well played.
Stealing stuff is not about the stealing it's about the stuff ya, so true, even though i don't prefer stealing, but same goes to: reaching a goal is about the goal, not the journey to it -_-
Rick needs his family, because he's lonely and has no purpose, but he doesn't really know how to love them, because it doesn't sit well with his "rational" worldview and his knowledge of the infinite multiverse. He also doesn't actually want to love his family, and dismisses that as a weakness, because it gets in the way of him being an asshole.
This was definitely not one of the best episodes, but it's still one of my favorites just got how silly the repetitive jokes are. Dos Cavazos, you sons of bitches. I'm in!
He cares to much... he travels in an alternate dimension where he might fine he’s past wife and change her reality. To be his reality or at least in this dimension .
So basically most of the shows gets into the random money-milking shit after the 3rd season. Like how it happened with Family Guy and others like that, but somehow not with South Park. Like, before the 4th season there was constant continuity, clever humor and setups, dramatic reliefs fitting into the main story, and not just for dramatic relief itself... And now it is just no different than some 5-8th season of Futurama or something. That's kinda sad...
For Rick's mentality, he's both an apathetic, callous and selfish sociopath who can be a caring, loyal and protective man of MOST of his family. He can also be pretty possessive and controlling as well. Meanwhile, Jerry and Rick care THE LEAST for each other.
The thing about selfish people or sociopaths is that they are extremely protective of their stuff and their close relations. It's not really the same kind of caring as the kind charities might do.
Man no matter what universe he's from, Elon Musk blows shit in any scene he's in. Just a huge piece of unpleasant shit, it's incredible, it's almost metaphysical
