Dr. Wong and Unity are the only ones who got the last word on Rick. And Unity had to leave. The guest stars in this ep, though! Sarandon, Trejo, Serefinowicz! Lord!
See, this episode is the perfect litmus test for what kind of Rick and Morty fan you are. 1) Action: How much you do you like the sewer adventure and Jaguar. 2) Drama-Comedy: How much do you appreciate Rick and Beth's arrogance screwing them over. 3) The Real Talk: The therapist monologue. So glad you guys like the real talk as well as like the action and comedy. I love what DC said about liking Tiny Rick more for it being an unexpected thing for Rick to do compared to wanton action and destruction like Pickle Rick. It's really jarring when RU-vidrs literally boo the therapist. Like, Rick is a maladaptive, drunken, suicidal megalomaniac who is so far gone that he ruined an entire Earth and just jumped to another dimension, abandoning his family... even though the story establishes five solid ways Rick can keep Beth, Jerry and Summer from harm. That's not a plot hole. The writers want you to know that's how little Rick cares. So, if you're the kind of fan who can't listen to a woman give him the TINIEST of dress-downs because it kills your wish-fullfilment buzz... well.... those are the kinda fans that harass McDonald's for Mulan schezwan sauce and yell Rick's catchphrases in public as if normal humans should understand what "Pickle Rick!" means. XD You guys are so normal and well-adjusted... even if you did make your own theme song lyrics. XD
Imagine how right you are after the end of season 4 episode 10 with callbacks to Rick and Beth's relationship but the family dynamic too. As much as Rick tried to hammer down Dr. Wong, she broke through a molecule chunk of his armour that begun to spread. It doesn't require a genius to understand Rick and Morty but you don't need to have a high IQ to enjoy it either.
Don’t get me wrong, ATLA and TLOK are masterpieces, but I hope the guys pick up more love action shows. And Hunter X Hunter needs to be their next animated show!
This episode started a fad in my high school where everyone would print him out and place them in almost hidden but obvious spots and would yell it out and a whole lot of shit
I know a lot of people loved this episode but i didn't, it was a good episode but it just wasn't that funny to me. Btw i am a huge fan of Rick and Morty i have been from the very first episode which is one of my favourites. I still enjoyed watching your reaction! Can't wait for the next one!
XJames45 I don’t understand why people are pissed with Beth, she pretty much mirrors Rick’s angst and destructive behaviour. They have the same personality. Is it because she’s a mom and she should know better than not be a crap parent like her dad?
Finally someone who didn't like the episode either, aha. I agree its good as far as basic Rick & Morty standards go for humor, but for me it was a miss. The same way those interdementional(?) TV episodes are hit or miss for some. Guess a fighting pickle just isn't my humor. It was still pretty cool though, seeing Rick fight seriously with his life at stake. The therapy bits definitely saved the episode for me personally.
@@kima_95 The absurdity of the whole fight is what made the therapist bit with Rick being destroyed by her speech actually work. The contrast is what made it work.
Those are grown men, they will be Aight & I see Patrick tossing trash on Robb & picking right back. They behave Exactly like me & my twin bro minus the Indian burns I give him. lol *evil laugh
why do you make the video (the one that you are reacting to) transparent. It makes it hard to see for the viewers. In my opinion I thunk it would be better so we can see it clearly. Not sure about everyone else thought. Aside from that I watch all of your videos and they are lit! Keep it up ❤❤💙🙏
kinda annoying that the 2nd guy from the right is constantly annoying the guy with the white cap. I like watching your reactions but this destroyed the atmosphere.
I get why people love the action and what not with pickle rick but that love is what makes returning to this show so rough each time. Everyone's out here calling Rick a savage and an OG when the fucker literally went through all this convoluted action movie bullshit because that was more valuable to him then actually fixing the fucked up shitty/toxic relationship he has with his family. I get its for laughs, I get that he HAS to revert to being the worst fucking influence on his daughter and her kids. But thats also why its so hard for me to watch it just as a comedy now.
