Only people with a soul love Ricks music - this track was my fave , summer 88 , just about to turn 19 , everything was new , exciting and wonderfull , what I would give to go back to those days again....
I was only born in 89, but all my life I had this feeling as if from another life - that I lived during the 80s. Nice vibes from that time in that song
On the east coast of the US, they were playing this often on the radio after the run of "Strong Man" and before "She Wants To Dance with Me" but RCA never issued it as a single, and that was a BIG mistake. It was not even on either of his first two American albums, an even bigger mistake.
Today, October 3, 2021, I heard this Beautiful Song for the first time, I loved it from the first time I heard it, Rick Astley's songs are really great and I'm only 17 years old, greetings from Panama😍✨
I have been a fan since he was discovered....I wish he would return..his voice is awesome..you feel his lyrics...brings back such memories...thank gosh for UTube.
You know I've been so lonely, every night Since you went away Would you let me down, any night Is that the way you're made girl I keep telling myself it's all right Even though I cry There's no question why How could I be happy when My arms keep missing you Who's been kissing you Since you went away My arms keep missing you I keep wishing you'd Come back today You said you wouldn't hurt me anyway And I believe in you We said we trust each other every day We'd never be untrue But I keep thinking you're telling lies Even though I try There's no question why How can I be happy when You know I've been so lonely, every night Since you went away Would you let me down, any night Is that the way you're made girl I keep telling myself it's all right Even though I cry There's no question why How could I be happy when
It's a good contender; personally I like the Autumn Leaves remix of "Take Me To Your Heart", "I'll Never Let You Down", or "It Would Take A Strong, Strong Man" as well.
I had the Bruno Mix of this. Was just back from Lloret de Mar. The Hotel Don Juan no less. (Ok, yes, there WAS a minor food poisoning scandal involving Paella and some women from Sunderland, but they were very sturdy girls, Mackems I believe, and survived after prolonged vitreous squatting. . . And believe me, back in the very early 90s, the drum track sounded awesome through the ever-open windows of my 2.0L GL Champagne Gold, brown vinyl roofed automatic Capri. Those days . . . . .
Lo adoro lo admiro mucho lo quiero mucho a Rickastle no me canso de oírlo es maravilloso Dios le conceda vida larga a ese genio mi eterno ídolo, dichosos los que tuvieron oportunidad de conocerlo

NBGdeki Are you being ironic? If yes then I would recommend you to get the fuck out of here! Did I say anything about being born in the wrong generation or how today's music sucks? No! I just said that this is my favourite song! Am I not allowed to like a song from another era just because of my age? And for your own knowledge Rick Astley videos are not even usually targeted by "born in the wrong generation" squads. Most 13 & 14 year olds make fun of Rick Astley and his songs because of the "Rick Rolling" stuff but unlike most kids of my age I actually know that he has more than one song and I'm a huge Rick Astley fan so better shut the fuck up!
@@TheGreenDoggoOfWisdom Same here. I actually was looking for it on Spotify a few days ago and was disappointed to discover that it wasn’t on there. [FACE PALM]
If you want to hear the original, classic 3-minute version (not the extended mix), you need to download it from the "Platinum and Gold" greatest hits album on iTunes.
