This is some of the best acting from Lincoln and Guirira. No dialoque, no tears, no music - barely even a sound. You feel the weight of the world lifted from their shoulders as she sees the man she assumed dead for more than 5 years; and him coming face to face with the closest thing to a wife he'd felt in a long time. Simply put, Lincoln and Guirira are incredible.
Next week on the TWD: The Ones Who Live, Rick is like okay I am alive, you are alive now let's get out here and go find our children, oh yeah and give me some tongue.
I mean there's still the genocidal maniacs to deal with. SOMEONE needs to put a stop to that, Okafor wasn't wrong about that or that in the right hands the CRM could do a lot of good. The guy who used it to kill over a hundred thousand people is the definition of the wrong hands.
No because if you watch the trailer for episode 2 it's about what happened to her after her final episode on the walking dead. most likely at the end of the episode it's gonna fast forward to when she finds Rick Maybe even explain why the group she found is targeting CRM choppers. Plus remember in the trailer for episode 2 you saw the green smoke that we know from beyond The Walking Dead
@@margaretcurrie4093 Don't care in a weird way. We missed rick, always been a walking dead fan but without him i was starting to feel the show not the same anymore.
I know right😂 like he wouldn’t remember this exact same samurai sword she had. Not to mention that sword never would’ve made it that far I mean Kitana’s are great, but with all the hacking and slashing done would never go that far.😂😂
@@trenthatt2944you just been attacked by rockets had your helicopter crash land get shot and exploded more all your team has just had their necks sliced open yet you gonna remember a sword from years and years ago? Use your fucking brain
If Rick hadn't chopped his hand off, he wouldn't have had the strong hand armor to stap her slash. She got pissed and wanted to see who this badass was!
Nah, she wanted to see the faces of the people who killed her friends. + she has been looking at all the faces she can during her search of Rick for the longest. Remember when she took all that time trying to get as best a look as she could at all those burnt bodies by the cruise ship? She wants to make sure anyone dead she comes across or is about to kill isn’t him. No need to spend any more time than necessary away from her babies.
@art23428 yeah I do detect cringe. A cringey little shit that feels it's necessary to take time out of their day to tell me nobody cares...when you obviously cared enough to be a snarky little shit over my simple statement. 🧌
@art23428 what's cringe is taking the time out of your day to respond with some snarky little nobody cares reply to a statement that shouldn't have affected you whatsoever...unless...oh yeah unless you cared. FK off
Michonne found Rick and thank God for that metal left arm/wrist or this would have gone differently but OMG when she pulled off his helmet and their eyes met..... CHILLS!!!!!
What a way to find rick.. And the scared look on his face when he mentioned the ones that have kept him prisoner.. Hes more weak.. He would never let others take him down.. 🤦Yes he's tried to escape.. But this.. Seems weird after 6/7yrs to end up like this..
They haven't seen each other in 8 years dude. She was an unknown assailant wearing armor he has never in the show seen her wear before whenever a mfer broke through their homes to catch the fade. To her he was like the other guys that got sliced few seconds ago who are in the same organization that dropped a gas attack on her and nats friends the year prior. So uh no way the two couldve known it was the other in that tiny fight. Lol
My biggest question in the last five minutes of the episode was what the hell kind of RPG were they using.? That dude just like disintegrated or some shit and it happened like a foot away from Rick 😂
I thought maybe that the weapon she used was a decompressed weapon of some sort it sucked all the oxygen out of him then he exploded. 😂or maybe I’m stupid
The opening of the episode Rick trying to take his life is epic. Rick has the power but…all that means nothing if your dead inside. Love ones is what makes us wanna live. Peace and love everyone that’s in the comments
@@c0171 fax season 9 10 and 11 weren't the best imo and I haven't watched the negan and Maggie one or the daryl spin off and the newest spin off with Rick but yeah from what I've seen and heard there's alot more than just alot to cover up plus I feel like a big character needs to have an ending but I really want Daryl to have the best ending he deserves it bro has seen everything from season 1 to now
This episode overall may have been the best episode that I've watched in the TWD universe. The acting, writing, pacing, story and everything has so far been very good. I wasnt a big fan of this scene though. It felt kind of rushed to get Michonne and Rick reunited and the plot armor was overwhelming - last soldier alive coincidentally, happens to be Michonne to be one that finds him (and coincidentally takes his mask off after not doing the same for the other soldiers she killed), etc.
It was unexpected but beautiful that they found each other first episode. Viewers would likely moan if not - now the story can move forward. Also, it's a short series. There were only 2 people out there, so it would be Michonne to find Rick; Nat was shooting. Rick was last soldier because he was ahead of the others. She did take off the other soldiers helmets. They had masks, Rick did not.
Would have liked Rick to have given back much more of a fight and have Michonne confused and worried like ok this guy ain’t no joke at all and then have the reveal. The way Rick fought back was pathetic unbefitting to his character and I know you could argue he didn’t care anymore but still if that’s the case he wouldn’t have fought back at all lol.
I don’t understand this supposed new civilizations mission. Is it to wipe out all zombies and humans who aren’t working with them ? What happened to Omaha? Why would they care if people leave it ? They can certainly protect what they have.
7 year timejump from s9e5 to s9ep6 then s9e15-ep16 was 6 months. Then several months in between season 10 n 11. Then overall about a year n a half went by in the final season. And this is estimated a year give or take a few months after the finale so overall about 9 and a half years hes been gone@CorsonDrax
Thats how the story unfolds, it builds the momentum from the first episode, and you would wonder the process and how they find each other. I believe, the narration Rick is doing in the first episode, is him telling Michonne all about what happened.
