Honestly, if the cards were just altered art of existing cards, like the godzilla cards, it'd be fine. The issue is that now, if you want to build humans, you essentially HAVE to buy their product, which doesn't help your lgs, and isn't available everywhere. Don't worry though, you can just buy the singles at an inflated price.
Exactly, the Godzilla cards were cool. This is just a cash grab and a lazy one at that too. Why take the show art, the show is boring and sucks. The comic would have been a superior choose better story and art.

As a mostly-mono-white player, this card would be a perfect fit for my soldier anthems deck,...but I simply can’t support this product. I’d feel dirty.
Awww snap! Incoming fire!!!! I don’t support the product. I think the commander RC should have banned it, but that’s just my opinion. People will buy it. My play group won’t accept it and that seems to be the consensus around the LGS. So, it is what it is.

Wotc said this is first of many. There will be crossovers that will appeal and others that won't. My motivation is I collect some of the comics so no brainer being a 25 plus year long player. Are there concerns yes but its out there support it or dont will exist

Its an odd sense of entitlement that geek communities have about the properties they invest their imaginations in. I say live and let die. No one has to buy it or use it. Its in no way essential to any part of the game. So what if a person doesnt like it, no need for all the cancel culture cry baby angst. There are 15-17000(?) Cards to use so put 62-66 of those in a deck with sone lands and play some cards. Life goes on. Its really such a small thing to be upset about. But unlike most magic players i get laid often so maybe im just not as frustrated about things in general.
You've often criticized WOTC for making poor decisions in the name of good business, but now, when every voice really matters you jump on their ban wagon, because, it's just business. Listening to your content it was obvious that you love to vent, but I listened to it because I thought you may be an honest voice that is uninterested in popularity and only concerned with the health of this game and its participants. I was simply wrong. I'm truly disappointed with how you've handled this and moreover you've lost a subscriber. For the same reason I won't buy this product, you vote with your dollar.
My problem is that the criticism is for this product and nothing else. The time to tell wizards to care about the lgs and the consumer was at least 3 years ago and not enough people cared then.

I can't buy this product even If I want, beacause Wizards don't even ship this to my country. Void lost my respect and my subscription doing this video in such moment were great part of the community are united - with reason - against It.
If you're against this Secret Lair but support the Reserved List, then you're a hypocrite. If you're against this but have ever bought a box or multiple boosters at a chance to get "hits," then you're a hypocrite. If you haven't been actively campaigning against Planeswalker and Commander decks, then you're a hypocrite. WotC has dropped the act and is directly selling mythics at 10 bucks a piece. Throw this shit in a shiny booster pack and these manchildren would lose their fucking minds over how awesome it is. Probably the most boring Commander of the lot to me, but for mono-white human tribal, seems solid. Definitely not in the top echelon of mono white to me, God-Eternal Oketra FTW.
