I love how throughout this show, we see Rick change. As we see him go through many hardships, and lose many people, he hardens. He becomes wiser, and more ruthless. It's sad, seeing the old Rick, who believed in not killing the living, and always tried a peaceful approach first, turn into a man who doesn't bat an eye about shooting people. Although, I don't blame him. After everything he's been through and seen, I too would do whatever it takes. There has been moments when Rick lost everything in seconds, but he kept pushing forward. And something else I love, is how much Rick cared for his family. He loved them all the same, even though he wasn't related to most of them. He's lost himself so many times, but his family has always been there to remind him who he was, and what he was fighting for. He killed for them, hell, he died for them! After everything he's done for them, and everything he's lost, after all the pain he's been through, it was finally his time to rest. He did his part to help, and lead them, and now it's left to his family to cherish his memory, and carry on his legacy Thank you Andrew Lincoln. May Rick Grimes finally rest

I’m in a theatre class and we had to create a role play scene, so me and my friends recreated the scene where Rick and his team was captured by Negan.

My goodness, ALL the memories have come flooding back. Hands down the best tribute video to Rick Grimes I have ever seen! A character who has been in my life and provided escapism no matter how dark or painful my days became over the past 9 years. End of an era and the start of the next I am sure. This is by far my favorite fan made/put together video. I've watched it more times than I can think of. Like others said as well, this made me re watch the series again. Nothing will ever come close to meaning as much as the walking dead means to me. No matter how many times I've seen each episode, it's been so many years that the characters are like family to me. The emotions, especially Rick's, are so raw and heartfelt. This show, these characters... they will never die. Ever! Awesome video brotha💯

This is absolutely beautiful and really honors him. Cried during this almost as hard as I cried during his last episode. I loved how you compared some scenes to the original episode and showed the transformation. This made me super nostalgic. Idk this is just amazing, your insanely talented. I’ll miss him so much but it feels so good to know that he inspired talented people to make things like this. A perfect tribute to truly one of the most realistic, iconic and well done/ developed characters in television history.

One of my favorite things about Rick is that he treats his people like family. He has killed and done horrible things. He doesn’t even know how many people he’s killed, but he knows why they’re all dead. It’s so his family can be alive. It was fitting for him to sacrifice his own life to save his family, the ones he had been fighting for since the beginning. Thank you, and god bless you Rick Grimes.
