this is a brilliant episode but i so badly hate how morty got fucked over with the girl, you fr feel happy for him and so angry at how absolutely stupid jerry is and how his family seems to always fuck him over at every step of his life. also whenever a friend says something or acts stupid i hit them with the are you dying from dementia, my favourite thing to say now.

Morty really Harambe'd himself on loop because he needed the physical pain to distract him from the emotional pain... Also, fun fact: that entire sequence with Morty and his girlfriend stranded on the mountain is based on a film which was based on actual events a sports team went through. It also wasn't even going to be in the episode originally, but they needed a way to fill a couple minutes, and parodying movies is kinda R&M's thing
