Rick I do property management for the past 20+ years. You’re dealing with idiots if they cannot locate the leaks and/or taking care of your refrigerator issues. That is totally unacceptable and you need to stop paying the rent and I’m sure you’ve documented everything-time to walk out and time for them to replace their roof! What a nightmare.

I work for an airline. Pilots have to calculate the weight and balance of the aircraft and fuel . That’s why we maintain a limit to 70lbs per bag . It’s costly yes but maybe sending it via cargo would be cheaper! Doing a great job Rick !

Luggage can be tricky but surprised you guys didn't check the specifics online. It can get costly sadly. Hope the rest of the travel goes more smoothly

Rick, sorry for your loss of your dear friend. So enduring to see how you miss Kelly and only apart for 1 day. 💕 Bad advice they gave you regarding luggage. I was over coming back from Mexico by 3lbs (one suitcase) and was charged In US $100 and I am a Canadian. Had I known I would have picked up a cheap over shoulder bag and put my purse iPad and used it for carry on. I also bought the weigh gadget to make sure this never happens again. Such a rip off! The extra weight was the alcohol as I bring back as much as I can and always over allowable but am honest at customs and they always let me go.
