The guy is more talented than people realize. The fact that he's so not Louis Tully in real life brings it home... but if you watch him in old SCTV clips, he had a ton of others characters that were just as varied and realistic. One of the few who did a George Carlin impression so accurately... and Carlin said it was so accurate, it made him question his whole act and forced him to reinvent himself.
And Eddy Murphy, and Josh Hardnett, it's unfortunate when great actors just stop by choice for decades, or in Eddie's case only do kids movies. I always wonder the stuff we missed out on that could have been.
Wow, he really was kool looking like that also! Hairy guy, I notice the hairy chest and arms in several videos before. Kind of like myself, but after rounding 50 my body-hair more or less disappeared, but the hair on the head stills there, ha ha. Rick, yes. Sorry to hear about the loss of his wife. Peace and greetings from Norway Scandinavia :)
First, Rick Moranis with the beard reminds me of my dad... only Rick is thinner... and Canadian.... and makes coperate insanity funny. Love you though, Dad! Second... Rick! The kids are grown up! You wanna get saddled with baby-sitting the grandkids on Saturday evenings or do you want them to brag about you being a movie star in kindergarten! Come back! I may not have been alive during your hayday, but my parents were and they miss you! Do this for my parents! My dad used to work for the post office, so you know he can't be stable! Love you, Dad.
