That's really cool that the governor and his wife kept the governor's word of helping Marcus at their own home and expense even though it was WAY MORE than they bargained for.........literally. That's amazing.

As a sixth-generation Texan, my family line being in Texas since 1823, I am proud to say I 100% support and look Trail Brothers. I have been a volunteer for Lone Survivor for over 11 years. Every opportunity I get that they are having an event, I will be there. One of the greatest honors I have ever had and a lone survivor event, was in October, when I got to meet and shake the hand of Marcus Luttrell. Also had the opportunity to have a photo taken with him. That was the number 2 bucket list item for me. It was only number two, because I will never achieve number one while on this Earth. I am trying cold to Governor Perry, for pointing out things I did not know about the brothers. I currently live in Willis Texas, where Morgan and Marcus did lot of their growing up going to school. One of my favorite items of knowledge, especially about Marcus, is when I found out that in high school he was a spindly kid, only 5 ft 8 in tall. I'm also proud to say I voted for Marcos. Thank you Governor Perry for taking the time to bring all these new insights about the brothers to those of us that care. I will continue to do all I can to support Morgan and Marcus in Lone Survivor. And for those who did not know, Lone Survivor is expanding their assistance to a new Endeavor, Northwest of Huntsville, a facility known as Camp coyote. Unfortunately, I was unable to give assistance when Lone Survivor needed it at Camp coyote this week due to work obligations. Again, thank you Governor Perry Morgan and Marcus. Some of us do still care.
This is why we're the best State.Yeah we can fight and argue with somebody but literally the next moment we would give that same person a blanket and some food if they needed it.We also value our mothers and women here differently...it shows in our compassion and emotional intelligence.
This was absolutely an amazing interview. I also learned a few more things. If I lived in Texas I would 100% vote for Morgan, but I am telling all my Texas family and friends to vote for Morgan no ands ifs or buts vote for him!!! Markus and Morgan you both have my respect!💜

72 yr old retired lawyer in San Diego.I moved from NY in 78 and I would run my Golden retriever on the beach in Coronado.I would see guys my age running and getting yelled at on that beach.I didn’t know they were SEALS.Most nodded at me or commented as they ran by about my Golden.I read the books…saw the movie.As a second degree black belt I thought I was tough…ha ha yeah right.My hat off to the brothers.Warriors…smart…heros.Thank you for everything.Hope to God Morgan wins!

Morgan has no competition in the Mitary experience besides his brother and of course Tim Kennedy, Jacko and I know a few more heroes. I wish all of them well.
