I've always respected Rick Ross as an artist, his flow is unique, no rapper can claim he sounds like them or they sound like him, his lyricism usually goes unnoticed.

The reason the ghostwriting thing doesn’t bother me it’s bc it doesn’t discredit Drake’s pen. Drake has written hits for huge artists like Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Kanye Etc. Almost everyone in the industry writes for other people or have people write for them. It’s like this across industries,Presidents, CEO’s people in certain positions have people to do that for them. So if we’re using it to discredit Drake we have to use it to discredit the people who he’s written for, which makes no sense bc he’s a good writer/rapper.

This is cope, if it wasn't something he was ashamed of he would have always had writers credited like Kanye did. We don't afford this same luxury to screenwriters, poets, authors, painters, etc so I will not start doing it for rappers. If you want to be a top RAPPER you need to write all your stuff, rap artist is different.

Also those other professions do use writers just at varying degrees. None of this take away from Drake’s pen though. Writing within creative industries is waaaay more prevalent than you’d think. Which were "Port of Miami", "Trilla" and "Deeper then rap" Ross's FOURTH ALBUM, "Teflon Don" which Debuted at #2, was the his first album to feature Drake, on the song "Austin Martin Music", which went #1. Also I believe the original version didn't even have Drake featured on it. So this whole idea that Drake gave Ross his first #1 is REDICULOUS. Maybe first #1 single. But Ross had THREE CONSECUTIVE #1 ALBUMS before Drake was even in the picture on his projects. So let's get these facts straight because allot of yall were younger 18 years ago when all this was happening.
