Update: been confirmed that the kendrick one was AI, my train of thought while it was happening does make sense though. Also, this is gonna suck and drain us of energy if we gotta keep vetting things instead of people dropping real releases (ie. Rick Ross).
Ngl, kinda surprised you thought that AI Kendrick track was real, Yassine. Thought you of all people would have laughed at the possibility of Kendrick making a track where he’s rapping like how he was a decade ago in the TPAB era, giving someone the weakest bars in his entire career, especially after the “Like That” verse. Not to mention the completely robotic delivery in several moments. But I understand you probably don’t listen to much Kendrick. I’ll admit, I understand why someone would’ve been fooled by it, AI is getting scarily convincing.
The guy that did it did a great job of copying his vocal inflections and writing style. There was no reliable confirmation it was AI for a few days. I don’t blame him. It was a good AI

I think when Kendrick actually responds, casual listeners will be able to look back and better juxtapose what makes this fake one sound so wrong. Then it’ll be obvious.

There are great lyricists out there, but I don't think they'll be enough to save hiphop. I think people are tired of the antics. But I might be wrong. I just have a feeling that the labels have pulled out all the cards, and people are tired of the many sub-par, and the few-talented imbalance.

Personally I don’t think Kendrick would ever leak anything. He’s very confident and intentional with his art so I don’t think he’d call out Drake directly then when he responds, he stutter stepping. Mans standing in business. Drake on the other hand wasn’t claiming push ups at first.
The one where Drake said “I am wearing the crown. I am not passing it down” that was AI. The one that sampled take money was leaked, and then remastered. The Kendrick one was FOR SURE AI. That flow and cadence was GKMC era. And everything is so robotic. It’s not hard to tell the difference between them

Bro Kendrick's camp has never came out and said that that song was AI second. if it was AI they would have removed it. 3rd it doesn't have any of the artifacts of AI that you normally get when you try to make AI wrap fast. You'll have the garbling effect from the auto tune. and there's a whole slew of other reasons on why that tracks not AI. It's just an early song. that wasn't meant to be released. It's nothing. bad against Kendrick. A lot of people make songs and then ditch them because they're not coming out the way that they want it to.
