There’s been rumors for years that drake locks up up and coming artists into contracts and the buries them and uses their talents to stay relevant himself. At a minimum he is a snake with how he treats people, I’ve never seen so many big artists go at 1 person at the same time. Something other than hip hop is going on to get this many people on your ass

The slightest hint of ghostwriter shit and for MC’s… it’s never the same. Em in Kamikaze was referring to drake because it’d piss him off being old school and it’s not like Dre or Kanye - it’s cool if ppl know. There should be no doubt, when someone says ghostwriter it shouldn’t stick. Eminem? jay Z? Kendrick? Not a chance as with most. So distinctive and you just know. There’s something there but we don’t know what exactly. Drake said there’s a collaborative process after the exposure but no detail. The doubt is what gets him and he’s the guy who moves like a corporation and his delivery is distinct…. But his verses are like technically well written instagram captions and bars and flips that tap into what’s trending but not distinct. At the least it’s a consequence of his pengame being so commercial AI will master him first.
