The world economy rolled over in 2018. It's been nothing but a money print since September of 2019. Inflate or die is what's happening now. We've been in a recession for almost 4 years but it's a secret. 😂
Say that Trump wins. He would be wise to pop the bubble immediately, blame it on Biden and have the markets in tip-top shape for next presidential election. P.S. Very dramatic background 👍
Great audio! What Rick said about housing priced in gold is very important I've been watching it. Gold goes up when house prices go down. If you take the average house price and divide it by the CPI there is still room for housing to drop or inflation to drop and housing stay stable. As a builder I watch homes around my neighborhood and a lot have been for sale, not selling and they keep building. On the 17th housing starts will be released. I would suspect that number to come in lower which is great for gold. I personally called for 2450 gold in 2022 when I was buying at 1600. So it reached my target. I'm more interested in the miners playing catch up than I am the gold price going up.
The part at 7:00 is chilling "I would ask your listeners to concern themselves with something else too... which is high yield debt. There are trillions of dollars in so-called "junk bonds" that are in income ETFs owned by middle America... the problem is that the ETFs are extremely liquid they trade like water... but the underlying assets are extremely illiquid. If middle America begins to have a concern with credit quality, I'm not they will but if they do, and they begin to sell these ETFs, the ETFs must sell the underlying bonds to raise the money for redemptions, and the underlying bonds are very illiquid. This potentially is a run on a bank with no Fed to save anybody, and if I had to think about something that scares me, that's it."
Great interview! However, I need to correct something that Rick said at about 7:40. ETFs actually don't sell the underlying bonds; although, that is what mutual funds do. ETFs have a mechanism in which authorized participants swap large pre-set baskets of the underlying for shares of the ETF and vice-versa, depending on whether the underlying bonds or the ETF is trading more expensively than the other i.e., whether the ETF is trading at a premium or discount to its underlying assets. So it is actually the authorized participants that would exchange a lot of the ETF shares for a basket of the underlying bonds, and then the AP would sell the underlying bonds. While the end result is similar to what Rick says, he wasn't quite accurate in the mechanism. Otherwise, great talk!
Rare Earths have been found in coal in Wyoming. Ramaco an Eastern Met Coal producer owns property and working with independent and government labs. Their head of the division is a PHD who did his thesis on rare earths in Wyoming. They originally bought the propertgy to make graphite from the coal and then the Govenment lab in TN found the RE cocentrations in the coal samples.
Goldman Sachs is going to say very little. Most people don't understand the complicated language of money anyway. No one who has power over the financial syetem or monetary stability will say anything as they continue to manipulate the whole thing. It's so massive with the many organizations that are involved plus the terminolgy.
Good ask. I'm asking myself the same question. Do you know if [some type of] Securities in Battle Bank are or will be available? I cannot see a scenario where I'd be interested in taking out a Loan from Battle Bank; but, I would like to invest in the potential for Battle Bank's profitability.
Powell said on Monday that recent data “add somewhat to confidence” that inflation is returning to target and that the central bank will not wait until inflation hits 2% before cutting rates. 😍😍🥰🥰🤩🤩
Charlotte seems so kind, and is very smart. Always informative....I watch almost all her interviews. Please interview Peter Schiff and grill him on the unbelievable success of Bitcoin.
Yup the tokenization of gold. There is quite he arms race to develop that industry and the ISO20022 tokens are poised to also benefit greatly, in terms of gold, particularly XDC.
The Confluence of today Compared to the 70s may ring a little Louder ! Economies are so large you hope there's Plenty to Cover ! Weighted Market Recovery Pincers are Still at Bay But have been moving up the ladder from Low, mid, to Upper Tiers !
Years ago, I ran a windmill co. Suddenly, they realized the monopoly they had in the rare earth elements in their magnets, probably cost me 4%, because of my signed contracts
I would put „the big silver short“ out of the shot in the end. That book is just awful and looks like a self reinforcing madness to any uneducated view , which is what any book should target .
Rule is a fool if he believes the banks don’t manipulate markets, all markets! What planets have been living on or maybe he’s one of them. They don’t have to have the legitimized system to manipulate and only an idiot would believe that, and Rule’s no idiot. So, I won’t say what he’s up to, but it is pleasant..
of course they manipulate the markets as much as they can - but their power isn't as great as most "conspiracy theorists" seem to believe it is. The level of manipulation isn't absolute, by any measure.
