Shuffle the lines. Give Pettersson, Hoglander and Lindholm another shot. Put Blueger up with Garland and Joshua again. Toss Mikheyev to the bench, put Zadorov in with Hughes, throw Hronek down to the bottom pairing.

Tocchet was a blue collar, no non-sense, but yet skilled power forward from his best days in Philly as a player. Its about a hard work ethic and giving it your all. Hasnt changed as his time as a coach, you need to call out your players when there not producing. 100% justified.

i don't think so, he looks like the only one driving that awful 2nd line. At least he can enter the zone with speed and make a pass and isnt a defensive liability.. 11.6 enters slowly, fumbles the puck at the blueline and then falls down every single entry.. Karlsson needs to go and Hoglander needs back in

People forget (or don’t realize) how good the Oilers are. They are one of the best teams in the NHL since the end of November. Vancouver is giving them a good go, but people underestimate the Oil. They aren’t even playing their normal game yet, due to Vancouvers good defence. But great series, it’s been a nail biter so far. Heart rate has not calmed down during all 4 games. 😅

BY my eye....Canucks have to simply attack in pairs in the Oilers zone when they do choose to do so and use give-and-goes more so their arrival times @ the net are correctly synched. Perimeter shots hoping for tips a bit to much is not working and is actually to low % of a shot choice for how loosely you are managing possessions, if you want to keep vollying the puck back and forth looking for errors you have to at least get it to the net with a slim chance of scoring on your first shots.....stop just accepting rebounds off of perimeter shots, is to predictable, especially if you keep vollying it away remember 30% of those possessions have to be skated to the net or you will never draw a call, and skated to the net with the intention of scoring not just doing drive-bys. Pickards a Journeyman but youstill have to get closer than the perimeter and stuff a few pucks past him and challenge him with wraparounds and variety,stop making it so easy.

Petterson is not built for nhl playoff hockey. He never was and he never will be. His body language is pathetic. The way I see his contract is a Swedish manager giving almost 100 million dollars to Sweden and laughing all the way to the Swedish Bank. Why would any NHL manager award a contract like that to a player who hasn't proven himself in the playoffs?.. Oh wait, it's the Vancouver Canucks...never mind.

How Hronek can have zero points in 10 games playing with Hughes is astounding. How Mikheyev can have zero points in 10 games playing with Pettersson is beyond reason.

I agree with Everything Tocchet has said Third line is Sucking Bad and the 4th Line as well as Hronek and Maybe we can throw Cole on the Passenger list I'll tell you this much Canucks should be up 3 - 1 and If we somehow lose to Edm they will Lose in 5 against Dallas... 5 on 5 Edm has scored 2 goals (One yesterday) against us... Edm has a killer PP and some speed That's about it..

Love Tochett but you could argue part of what hes saying is his faul too. Mikheyev has been a passenger for alot of the season. He wants Pettersson to play more defense than offense and no wonder Pettersson cant get anything going. Tochett traded Kuzmenko who seemily has more offensive flair than most the canucks lol.

So... you have one D-man who left Draisaitl in his office to chase Mcdavid who already had 2 forwards on him, and one who steps up for a meaningless open ice hit on Eckholm of all ppl, allowing Nuge and McDavid a 2 on 1 from the blue line. Both end up as goals. What happened to this Vancouver Defense that was supposedly so vastly superior to Edmonton's? So far it seems the other way around. A few bad goals that Skinner doesnt let in and the Oilers are up 3-0 at this point.

I'd like to say that the Canucks were the better team but I can't the phone the game in they were out played the whole game. And once they manage to tie the game by the grace of God, they stop playing like they were already waiting for overtime. They were in embarrassment last night, because of that Edmonton will win the series now which I predicted from the beginning, but I didn't think Vancouver was going to give it to them. They only had two players on the whole team that played last night. You can't win hockey games when guys don't actually care

We may have to pull 65 this next game. On Juulsens hit, he literally watched them go on a 2 on 1 after. Zero attempt to cover for Juulsen. Like Zero.

WTF was Juulsen doing there? You have to be aware of wtf is going on, and not just go for the big hit. What a stunningly brain dead play by him. Let the hits come to you, don't chase them. And boom, 2 on 1 with Hopkins and Draisaitl. Send him back down to Abby.

@@carletonrutherford1799 No. He was fine. He took a chance. The puck bounced perfectly to Hopkins. Fluke really. It was worse. Hopkins and McDavid on Myers. Juulsen played well. Confirmed by Tocchet.

@@carletonrutherford1799 wrong. Petey and Mikheyev flew by the play. Usually he would have had two more guys covering or at least skating with the play. It was the right play. Juulsen was good.

Mikheyev can do everything but score, literally has stone hands. Juulsen played well, but I didn’t like that one play that lead to a 2 on 1 with less than a minute left in the 2nd period.

It literally feels like they just playing hot potato out there. They all so afraid to hold onto the puck and when they do pass, its not great passes at all and gets intercepted. We do way to many cross ice passes, which coughs up the puck most times. If it actually gets thru the other person just ends up holding it for too long deciding on what to do. SHOOT the god damn puck.

Yesterdays 1st and 2nd Periods were our worst of the Playoffs if not the whole Season Id be ok Losing against Dallas i just dont want to Lose against Edm Cant stand them and their Fkn Fans lol Including sometimes my Fiance whos a Edm Fan and that Josh Sooch guy who was Cursing Zadorov while in the Penalty Box in Game 3

i thought that the canucks played a good game they lost in the last minute if they had won they would be up 3 to 1 in games so why all the sooking and throwing the team under the bus starting with the coach at least vancouver fans can look forward to the riot when they lose

They were lucky to win game 1 and very lucky to win game 3. They earned their luck, but over the course of a series luck evens out. Off the post and in last night. Nuge had a post in game 1 that would have sealed the deal we had 4 posts last game. Switch goal tenders and this series is over already! Fair play to the Canucks, they are way ahead of where anyone thought they would be and have home ice advantage for the best of 3. But let's call it what it is. They are riding a great Goalie and good luck! GO OILERS!
