Thanks! I have a few of the Rickshaw pen cozies and I love them, but I didn't understand the reason for the plush lining. The comments here were helpful in explaining it. (I don't have super-expensive fountain pens, but have a few nice ones in the $20 range.)
That plush lining is crucial. I’ve had elastic bands on pen cases scuff the cap rings of my pens on multiple occasions. (Actually happened on my Franklin Christoph 3 pen holder). Sad when you put your pen in something meant to protect it and it actually harms it.
Great review! More accessory reviews would be great. I would love comparison reviews. It's hard to decide when you can't touch them beforehand. How about rickshaw vs. Nockco?
Yes I would like to see more videos about accessories and such. I think I am gonna buy the duo for my kaweco sports. The Kaweco 2 pen case for the sports is ok, but it has allowed my pens to scratch each other..
I don't tend to go for many tame colors, but Rickshaw has lots of more subdued materials. Nock Co does some nice blacks and such, too. I'll be showing some of those things, too.
Bit late, but they do custom color orders for an extra fee! Found Rickshaw's swatch book here: www.dropbox.com/s/uyb1re6xreu1snk/Rickshaw%20Swatch%20Book.pdf?dl=0/
