Oh, I cried!! My oldest is only twelve, but I can imagine the emotions I will feel when it’s his time. What a beautiful day! You could feel the love. You and Rick have done a wonderful job raising a godly man of integrity who I know will be a sweet covering for his wife and lead his family well. Oh, Amanda. I’m crying in my kitchen with my coffee watching this. I have never met you all in person, but feel like I have. This was so very beautiful. I can’t believe just like that- Ricky is a married man. You & Rick must be so very proud. You raised a godly young man who found himself a beautiful, godly young woman. Everything looked just beautiful. May God continue to bless them both and your wonderful family!

Absolutely loved it!!! One of my most favorite things to do at weddings is to watch the groom when the bride is walking down the aisle! Everyone is usually watching her, but I love seeing the grooms reaction .

My son is 10. He is my only child and will be only. Seeing this makes me see how fast time is going. How does it feel when a child leaves the nest in this way? I know it’s a natural progression but my heart felt the emotion of both proud and a sadness as I watched.

I felt the same watching it. Ricky brings a unique light into the home- with his laughter and personality. I can imagine it is quiet without him there. I couldn’t help but think of myself- I am a single mother and my daughter is 16. She is becoming more and more independent. It is not easy, either- as I came to the Lord only 5 years ago. I struggle. I wonder how it will be for me one day when she leaves the nest. May God see us parents through the years and the transitions. ❤️🙏🏽

I didn’t realize Marquise was so tall. The house a grew up at was right by the lake. We couldn’t see it from our house but it was only a 10 min walk down to it. We could always hear the speed boats though. We lived right next door to the campgrounds our back yard butted up next to the campground. It was so fun living out there.
