I know I don't usually do Ricky and Nini since I'm a big Rini shipper and they're sort of the direct competition, but I've loved their story line recently, even more than Rini's. I've wanted to make an edit for so long with them, but never got around to it. This episode killed me, I felt so bad for Gina, it hurts when the one you love doesn't love you back or is with someone else. I actually like this edit which is more than I can say for some of my recent edits. Maybe I'm just not feeling inspired my Rini this season, which is really sad because I've waited so long for them to come back. Also, this song randomly came up in my recommendations, how have I never heard it before, it's so beautiful.

The complexity and depth! Sofia is such a talented actress, and she's made me so invested in Gina's feelings. You did a nice job of capturing that.

It’s the way this Disney show ship is eating up every other teen show right now! I was team Ricky and Nini until he sang to Gina in episode 6. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 when I knew that they have more potential than Ricky and Nini ever could. I think the show writers/producers realized that too :)

so true. and I feel like if they pursued this whole Ricky and Gina ship that it would be something so new. because I feel like this type of dynamic isn’t something that Disney has ever like actually made endgame before if that makes sense. they entertain it but it’s never actually made into a relationship or they do make it to relationship, but then it’s like “they’re just better off as friends”. only thing that’s kind of making me sway away from Gina and Ricky right now is the way Ricky has been just so un-self aware of the things he’s been saying and doing it and how it’s actually affecting Gina. because as much as i like the Rina ship...I like Gina better and I don’t want her to be treated badly🤷🏾‍♀️

@@pinedar21 There have been many instances where people who are dating on a show/film don't get along - they’re actors. And we have no idea what their relationship is like anyway. I genuinely believe they changed things up because of the massive fanbase that Ricky and Gina have.

I went them to be endgame soooo bad!!! The chemistry they have and the moments between them are SO MUCH MORE meaningful than Rini. Also, a lot of people think she's going to end up with EJ and it seems like a possibility but I also don't think so because I believe Gina is a sophomore and EJ is a senior. The age gap between them would be inappropriate for Disney and the actors also have a significant age gap (Matt Cornett is 22 and Sofia Wylie is 17) which would also be inappropriate to film any kiss scenes. But also...Joshua Bassett is 20 so idk. I just KNOW Rina is the besttttt

After watching season 2 episode 6, I don't understand how Ricky could just act like everything that Gina said to him after the musical never happened. I get that it's a lot, but it's not fair to Gina.

I know, hate how he acts confused whenever she is upset that he isn't showing her the same kind of attention that she gives him! I mean, it's quite clear how she feels about him; you don't have to be a genius to see that. 😩🤦🏽‍♀️

okay but this edit is so good!!! Episode 6 was pretty sad to watch with the drama between Ricky and Gina. I think that when Gina had said "I wouldn't quit on us if I weren't moving away," I believe that to Ricky, he must have thought she was talking about their friendship. She never directly said she liked him anyway nor did she directly show that she liked Ricky. She mostly hid her feelings from him in Season 2. Also, since he had just kissed Nini a few minutes ago his mind was in a different place and focused on Nini for a bit. Boys can be clueless when it comes to girls having feelings for them. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...Gina even said to Ashlyn that they never spoke about it again. I believe that Ricky had just assumed that if Gina didn't say anything after she returned to East High, then it would have been okay for himself to sort of forget about what happened and go on to date Nini. I don't understand why people are suddenly rushing to the conclusion that Ricky knew that Gina had feelings for him and still asked for relationship advice. I honestly don't think that was the case, and he would never try to purposely hurt a friend. Especially Gina.

First off, Gina needs someone who cares for her. The only interactions between Ricky and Gina have always had something about Nini in them. Second, after the latest episode, hell I think EJ and Gina have so much more chemistry. There’s gonna be a point in the show where Gina will realize that there’s someone who cares for her as much as she deserves to be.

Wow! The perfect song for them. ...They're emotionally in deep with each other. You can't just always see, or sense each other's minds and hearts. Even they're hardest times... Gotta adore them both though.
