I heard it for the 1st time yesterday during George Floyd's memorial in Raeford, NC. This is awesome and so appropriate! The only thing that was missing? If they would have sang, "Whenever the Lord says peace.....there will be peace!" That was in the original. Just a small teeny suggestion!" All in all I loved it!!!! ❤

@@danielburton3370 Daniel Burton he is in the soprano key but men that are the equivalent of sopranos are called counter tenors. Notable ones are Philip bailey from earth wind and fire, Russell thompkins Jr. From stylistics, Victor Trent Cook of 3 Mo Tenors among other contemporary artists. It's the same as the classical counterparts except that the gospel style and the timbre and other factors can affect the resonance of notes etc but they are the same. Look up those names. Look up were you there by victor cook. Let me know.

MegaJesusisGod I love his high voice don’t get me wrong I was I could do that and there’s nothing wrong with what he is doing however with that being said I would love to hear some diversity in his voice. Look up. You deserve glory and you are the reason by Milton Brunson the lead singer chess Harris. He has a beautiful head voice as well and sounds like a full-fledged woman but I like the fact that he mixes it. What are the songs the first half Of the song is falsetto the second half of the song he sings in his chest voice but it’s just voice sounds like a first tenor or second alto. “Peace that surpasses all understanding” I love this song and the soloist has an amazing voice. As a drummer I gotta say how much I love listening to Brent Easton (Beaston) on drums. A good musician knows when to step back and make sure that the whole song music and lyrics are heard not just them and he did that. He enhanced the song he didn’t dominate it. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿

LIIIIIISTTTEENNN this here is right on time. I have had the word Peace in my spirit all week long. I've been singing both James Cleveland "Peace Be Still" & Vanessa Bell-Armstrong "Peace". Then occasionally I'll sing the hymn "It Is Well". Then here u all come thru & drop this in the midnight hour. Yassss I'm here for it. Keep up the great work in ministry.

I've been listening 2 this song for about 6 months & for about 3 months I listened 2 it over & over on my way 2 work every morning.....I know this song in & out but most of all still 2 this day it still blesses my spirit because we NEED MORE PEACE ON THIS EARTH FOR SURE DAILY......GOD BLESS EVERYBODY THAT BROUGHT FORTH GODS VISION 2 MAKE THIS SONG A SUCCESS.....TO GOD BE THE GLORY 🎤🙏💜🥰

This song is probably my number #1 favorite gospel song. I have been around and played music my whole life and this one here just hits different. It's the opera sound, the powerful choir with the band playing so musically and not over playing. I absolutely love it. Officially my #1 favorite gospel song.

Can't help but to get full listening to this. Brings me back to the time when I was coming up as a youngster singing & you knew Sunday morning worship was gone be crazy because choir rehearsals was crazy. There was a expectation that the song would usher in the Presence of God.
