Yeah, in American Pop Culture. Kind of like rock n roll. We've got our American rock stars, then we've got Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, etc. Love our Comedians and Rock Stars, just sayin' the Brits have a brilliant mastery that's untouchable. My favorite comedians are American for sure, yet I still can appreciate the unique quality of British comedic talent.
Ricky is the only guy I've seen in interviews where Russell brand seems to not overshadow. Russell is the prodigy in confidence, Ricky is the refined cognac of confidence.
Rory O'Donnell Think it was in reference to a tv screen fading to black after any given programme/feature before going to something else. Or as if everything goes dark once the camera stops rolling. That said, maybe it’s just open to interpretation. 😂
I used to loathe Brand based on his initial appearances to me as being an egomaniacal, narcissistic nymphomaniac. However, as I've come to listen to him lately, he is actually one of the most charming, well spoken, and quickest wits on the public stage at the moment. He has very progressive and intellectually sound arguments, and appears to be light years ahead of whomever he is being interviewed by at any given time.
One of the greatest things I've ever seen on TV was when Russell Brand went on the Morning Joe Show and made them all look like the vapid fools that they are.
HOLD THE PHONE RUSSELL BRAND. In this title you clearly state, and I quote, "funniest interview ever!'. But in the related videos you have a video, "Russell Brand and Will Ferrell - funniest interview ever!". WHICH IS WHICH...MAKE UP YOUR MIND.
this isn't Brand's account. THis is someone posting videos of him under his name. Brand's account can be accessed if you type Trews into the search bar. His icon is from his show Messiah Complex.
He could have seen one sketch first and then this one later. Red Dwarf was my fav TV show. It's still top 5. I started watching Spike Milligans Q series now THAT is my all time fav show. I watched some Spikes Q series when on TV but BBC never released and DVD's. It's an older show but wasn't put up on you tube til a few years back.Red Dwarf knocked off The Young Ones which in turn knocked off Monty Pythons flying circus.
Hrh Fish you're comment isn't making much sense to me (I'm quite sick ATM) how does a fake account or his Trews stuff or his icon make him big headed? He isn't posting the 'best interview ever' stuff, it's someone else so that doesn't make brand big-headed..?
Tamashi88 If didn't know google russell Brand,Jonathan Ross and Andrew sachs. Put those names into the search bar. This was massive news in the UK a while back.
The man is an entertainer with a quirky persona and style. Honestly, I was never a particular fan and never watched his material, but now that the evil media and Big Tech have suddenly launched these vicious attacks against him and are trying to shut him down, yes, I am 100% on his side. Anyone who's an enemy of The Powers That Be is probably someone worth listening to.
The emissions joke (Does it make a difference) nearly stopped me breathing, I spat out my cig laughing. When he said I recycle, I laughed again, thought he was going to crack a joke about using his bike more often.
Why doesn't anyone ever preach about how eating less meat and having less babies has the BIGGEST impact on climate change... we're too self-indulgent, I suppose:/
+Wily Whiskers OMG THIS. i do not for the life of me understand why in the hell we dont shame people for having babies when there are LITERALLY millions of orphans in need of homes and love...
looseSpark He was, and in the end he impressed me, although he was trying to bring a dark subtle attack against them at first, he got taken in by their humour.
Russell doesn’t seem altogether himself here. He’s usually off the handle hyper silliness and although he’s next to Ricky who is exactly the same himself he seems reserved. More like he has something on his mind. Just my observation 💁🏻♂️ love both of these people. ❤
What a fool he has the efin dream comedy squad TOGETHER and he wants to wrap it up. They where actually prepared to give him more time and he couldn't take it there time is worth millions
9 years later and we are all still here , the planet hasn't exploded and we aren't all living on boats because the sea level has risen , ooh but it'll be in the next 5 years and when they get it wrong it'll be the next again and again .
Regardless of personal opinions on Ricky and Russell... I remember seeing this live and thinking the interviewer starting poorly and let it go downhill from there. Attacking comedians before wanting to ask them questions is only going to lead to disaster.
