2:46 - No. He and Steve Merchant got it started! Why doesn't he acknowledge Steve Merchants contribution to the the original show AND David Brent character!? If it wasn't for 'Smerch', there wouldn't have been an original office, US office or David Brent character. Everything Ricky has done since he's stopped working with Steve has been absolute rubbish. Including the abysmal David Brent movie.
Stop being crazy. If you asked him how it all started, or who helped him, he would give credit. Just not every time he ever says anything. He doesn't have to talk about Steve every time. People know. He knows. They even did a TV show about making The Office, and they were both there, as *co-creators.*
