Why does it matter what someone is going to look like when they're 60 ? I don't understand you people. When we're all old people you're going to look... OLD I hope that isn't a surprise to you. I'd rather be Old & look like I lived an interesting life than to be OLD using Life Alert. Why does everyone who isn't anyone feel the need to sit around judging people who are getting paid and have enough money to do what they want. Btw he had his ears fixed up its completely healed now and he also quit the band works as a barber now lulz.

Why so much hate? Stretching ears goes way back to ancient times. Its art. Just like tattoos its beautiful if done correctly and stands out in society. People are just too ignorant to understand what art is when they see it. Some might not view it as art but it is its simply art.

Its not about how smart you are, its about feeling good. If you feel better with stretched ears, it has nothing to do with your level of intelligence. Women dying their hair, or wearing makeup helps them to feel good. Ricky happens to feel better with his ears that size. He could get them snipped at any time. Its not like he is forced to have lobes like that forever. Plus, he is in a field where he can have his ears that large and still have a nice life.

Ricky,I think you're a bad ass, down to earth guy. The kind of person I would be blessed to have as a friend.

I am all for self expression, but my goodness those guages are insane..absolutely crazy...I would never do that no matter how successful my band became. He actually had his lobes reconstructed.

I Duno why people are hating so much on him not "touring" anymore and working 9-5. As a musician myself that also doesn't drink or do drugs, it's not exactly the most healthy or fun thing to be around 247. He probably got sick of it.

He was just voicing his opinion. Which makes sense, you can hide tattoos with clothes, hair etc. But those plugs just goes over and beyond.

they actually are surprisingly a lot stronger than you would think. plus hes wearing plugs. there arent any holes in the jewelry, so there is nothing to get caught on.

Lol he is (or was) the clerk at the number one rated barbershop in LA now. I recently heard the guys in there talking about how he got his ears fixed. Real down to earth guy though.

Body modification will forever be a greatly debated idea. You either love it or hate it. I personally believe in doing whatever you please. So there's no point implementing your negative views or opinions. Doesn't matter to Ricky Hoover nor does it to the community that loves body mods

must say am not a real fan of neck tattoos but I like how yours has worked in with the rest of your torso area , what's the longest you've ever sat for a tattoo ? I spent about 35 to 40 hours on my two sleeves but the most iv ever sat for was about 7 hours on my back , planning to get a Guns N Roses tribute tattoo on my chest iv had it priced at between £900 and £1000 , the one iv got on my back is a portrait of the late Freddie Mercury with ' Its a kind of magic ' wrote in old English writing , I grew up idolizing the man and the rest of Queens music
