He was singing this at the Coastal Fair in Ladson, South Carolina and all of a sudden he just stopped in the middle of the song. He pointed over to vendor row and said "That hog meat shore smells good, y'all wanna take a break and go get some?" The audience broke up as did his band. He went right back to singing and they never missed a beat.

Oh Ricky Skaggs I always love this music he's a wonderful singer performer I like the way you seen these got that good old country Sound by God I think all my friends would love to hear him play in person that I know but fortunately we can go where he's at we'd stuck here in Texas may God bless this family I enjoy this music may the good Lord bless him

He absolutely is my love of country started with skaggs . And later the Nashville cats and Vince George strait Alan Jackson and Brad and Clint but as a player I can say from playing his stuff over the years he is an animal on guitar or mandolin Ricky skaggs is country to me
