That Jeff Jarrett interview is something else man. If they don't have him booked to win it, change it or just admit you can't book it. It turned Jeff Jarrett babyface and he'll be the most popular man in Calgary if he wins it.
@yousufseedat7736 shot doesn't mean he wins. Is he the right person to be Swerve's opponent at Wembly? No, especially with Jarrett going face post interview. But I think there could be some nice story bits with his interactions with the TNAssholes and Jarrett's urge to want to win the title for Owen, but the want to hit more people with guitars.
Jeff Jarett has no stake in this company so I doubt he'll kill AEW. Tony Kahn is doing that well. JJ doesn't need to win, but maybe he falls into a depression after losing at Wembley and Malakai Black convert Jarret to the House of Black or The Dark Order recruit JJ as the new leader.
@Lthemisan I think Jarrett can be used in a fun way, focusing on his history. He's worked for almost every major company and started a few. What you're saying is one way to highlight that.
Hmm this story about Ricky Starks coming out feels like someone is trying to bury him or damage his name on purpose. Same with him turning down a lot of creative, maybe to make him look unprofessional.
I know everyone is expecting Ospreay to lose at Forbidden Door, be the wild card in the Owen and then go on to win and beat Swerve at Wembley but damn it the Jeff story feels mor important so Jeff should win the Owen. It'd be really disappointing and upsetting if they went to this effort to emphasise how important it is for Jeff to be in the Owen only to lose in the first round.

As far as the NXT Title match goes, the Fatal Four-Way stipulation is a great way to get both Spears and Page on the Heatwave PLE since they're both from Ontario, Canada. I personally don't think either will dethrone Trick, but it'll be great to see them both featured in the main event and receiving warm welcomes from the fans.
You can have Jarrett win the tournament without challenging at all in. Have him be attacked after the match by the elite and be injured. Have the bucks pull power trip and put page in there.
Me, as a pro WWE anti Tony khan guy would say that it’s best for Jeff Jarret to win the cup. It moved me seeing that promo and after all the tournament is there to honor Hart after all

If the Starks / Big Bill feud plan is accurate, kudos to Starks for rejecting it. What a lame idea by AEW creative. Starks is popular as a heel, why switch him face? AEW really does lack active creativity.
I don't think it's the worst idea but saying Ricky is being difficult because of this is also bad because there is a logical reason not to handle it like this
I watched the ppv where Owen died live in my uncle’s basement so that segment hit like a truck. Jeff should win that cup and then maybe do a story where he picks Jay to replace him in the Wembly match. A big honor for 2 vets in the business.
