Vlad and Rico Recklezz discussed the sentencing of Jussie Smollett, who allegedly staged his own hate crime for publicity. Smollett’s appeal was dismissed and he was sentenced again. Vlad reported that the judge had a firm dialogue with Smollett, similar to a parent talking to a misbehaving child. Rico questioned Smollett's actions, arguing that he demeaned real victims of hate crimes. He also criticized Smollett's plan to gain attention, especially as it implicated two other innocent individuals. Vlad confirmed he interviewed the two Nigerian brothers allegedly hired by Smollett for the hoax. Rico expressed disbelief that Smollett manipulated the narrative for personal gains, considering it an insult to real victims in the LGBTQ+. The two also touched on Smollett's pending jail time, agreeing that his past actions could follow him into incarceration.
