Swear that I have a Prego somewhere. Have a Prego zoom which won’t keep batteries in any more. Also have a lower priced Prego fixed camera.

Thanks for video! Got this awesome camera in perfect condition (even screen is perfect) and shot two rolls. It is actually just a GR1, but fully automatic. Too sad that there is no easy way to turn off flash fast. I wish you could skip flash just by holding flash mode button, instead of pressing it two times - that would be a great idea.

And also i found manual for this camera and the remote control sensor is that weird black round button-ish thing right beneath the shutter button.

Was wondering what did you put on the inside of the back window & did you have light leaking issues?

Tin foil and some gaffers tape to hold it in. And I did. The foam around the window was completely gooey and had to be removed. No foam gasket means no light protection.

Neat camera, good way to lose money. IMO the only P&S cameras worth owning are the Canon AP/WP-1s, Konica Genbakantoku series, Nikon AW series, and other seriously weather sealed bodies. Can still get failures, but so much less likely since moisture is removed from the aging equation.

PnS cameras of the era were not really designed to be long-lasting, for sure. But, writ large, 90s cameras weren't designed for longevity.
