Once again, you've created some very cool "new" ride types. I love these and really wish the ORCT2 developers could figure out a way to make them a part of the game without having to do all the work that you show. My OCD and "safety mindset" kicks in when I see peeps walking across an area where there's a moving ride, so I probably wouldn't build this like you did, but it's still really cool! Great work and great job explaining it all.

Thank you! I agree, it would be amazing to see some of these ideas added to the game. As for the safety issue, I completely understand. You could probably minimize that issue by placing the entrance and exit buildings in the center instead of where I placed them.

I really enjoy watching these videos. You are making it easier for those of us that have complications building these custom creations. I missed the boat years ago on track merging and lately on shoestringing. I don't get to play as much anymore as my interests are elsewhere so I have to play vicariously thru you and other legendary rct cultural leaders. Thanks!

Why thank you! I’m glad I can give you your RCT fix! And I completely understand, I never wanted to touch shoestrings and hacked rides for quite some time. Now my goal is to find the easiest way possible to create these contraptions!

Thanks! And no, there are no guests in the invisible control cars. The invisible variant of the Cheshire cat vehicles does not hold guests by default. This goes for any invisible vehicle variant as far as I know.

i usually don t comment below videos but for this time i have to. I was actually building my own custom park as an event with my community, and your videos were truly eye-opening what is possible with the game. I learned a lot and made very good use of it - although I still have to meddle with these of rides with control tracks. IDK why, but for whatever reason it took me a while before it clicked with me and the innerworkings of it all made sense. and by the time they did, my park building event was already completed. Regardless, I took a lot of inspiration from your design ideas and will properly credit you when I'll release a tour through my park as a video. EDIT: Did not intend to promote my channel here, but I found it important to let you know I give credit whenever it is due.

I agree, shoe-stringing is hard to understand at first...I avoided those types of hacks for the longest time but now finally feel comfortable with them. I'm looking forward to your park tour! I always love seeing my tutorials being used in the community!

@@openRCT2tutorials oh sure, I can give you a headsup when it is released, although i suppose my park building skills are still a little bit of diamond in the rough, and it has a few community inside jokes which are a bit random. but ye i will preferably send it to you to the business mail of your YT channel instead of the comment section, because self-promotion in other people's channels is generally considered impolite by most people.

I think if I were to do this (and I'm really thinking about it, even if just for the experience) I would do it with four trains/rides. And I'd have to think of two different vehicles to add in, because I absolutely hate the helicopter, and think it is about the ugliest thing ever. In a busy park with lots of rides, things going on, and some extra scenery, I think I'd notice the peeps walking through parts of the ride to enter and exit little enough that I could ignore it. Great possibilities here.

That would be awesome! There isn't really a limit to how many rides you could combine into one (255 is the game limit for number of trains). Just depends on how long the ride length is so that peeps aren't just constantly loading. As for vehicles, there are so many options... so many different car ride vehicles to choose from, the flower power bumper cars, horses, motorbikes, go karts, etc!

Just working on the finishing touches of my test creation of this. Many vehicles I wanted to choose were too big to fit even four on a thing, so I had to be more selective, but I think my choices have worked out nicely. I do have to ask one question ... where did you find the poles to hold your roofs up? Overall it seems to work pretty well, though I'll have to check things in an actual 'real' park build soon.

Yeah, some vehicles are probably too large for a good fit. I know the rocket cars are definitely to big. The poles are just the standard poles from the lamps and benches tab.

Final comment on these today ... WOW! I don't quite know how, but the ratings on these are over-powered. Tiny kiddie rides with ratings of 7.00/6.88/1.57!

Haha yeah, using the jet skis gives them a huge multiplier. And the control track length will influence it as well.

Looks sweet, but holy heck that's a lot of game manipulation for me. xD "Mom, I want to go on the invisible haunted jetski wildmouse helicopter ride." no, we have carousels at home.

Haha, yeah this is definitely a bit more advanced. My next tutorial is going to be super easy! But that’s a good name for this ride 😅
